Do you have alot of applications that are running on the background? If yes, windows is trying to shut down all before switching off.

Alternatively, do you have enough ram to support Vista business?

Any Fujitsu LifeBook T4220U (Tablet PC - convertible) users out there?

Especially those who bought it from NTU/NUS, any problems with it?...especially it's the core2duo processor, is it quiet or noisy? Or is it a good tablet pc?...

Do share your views. Thanks.

Somebody told me that it's better to have it serviced on repair shops than the service center because it is more expensive on service centers. Is it true? Any idea on how much normally does lcd replacement cost?

My laptop is P7120 and the lcd cracked last week :(, I was wondering where is the best place to have it repair, and how much would it cost. I'm planning to go to Sim Lim and have it repaired there, but of course any inputs from guys would be greatly appreciated so that I wouldn't get fooled by those people in sim lim.

Thanks!

It really depends on individual leh. I think service wise, there will definitely be cost such as Workman ship and the part pricing. Thus fujitsu service centre only offer to cover the part cost while everyone pay the standard $80 (not inclusive of GST) yet for the service fee regardless of what once you send in.

u can call in to service centre to check price ler.. i dun suggest 3rd party vendors unless ur laptop out of 3yrs warranty.. reason is becos if still under warranty, u go 3rd party vendor, if they spoil ur laptop how? u will end up with more damage on ur laptop..

i bought this hoping that by plugging it (the white part) into my external monitor port of my Fujitsu S7110 and then connecting the yellow RCA cable to my tv, it would clone the laptop display onto the tv, but it didn't work.

could someone tell me how to clone it to the television?

For me, I will advise send back to service center for repair as they are trained and more professional in Fujitsu products. I believe your P7120 is less than 3 years also, if you send to outside repair, **touchwood** the part is spoil again or it makes another part in the laptop spoil, Fujitsu warranty will not cover and the warranty will be void once you send to outside for repair.
So, u need to think abt what the somebody tells you is help you or not.
Hope it helps ;)

You can try to use S-Video (laptop) port directly to S-Video (TV).

If u r not very familiar, send to service center let them do for you i think they won't charge u.
Otherwise, the hook is ok but u try yourselves until broken then LL need to buy the whole keyboard as their warranty is not cover physical damage de if i'm not mistaken.

Say, can someone pls advise.

Connecting my fujitsu lifebook to the internet via a wireless router. Problem is, the connection disconnects on its own on and off quite a bit. I also have an ibook and this does not happen on my ibook at all. Is there something that I'm not doing right?

Hi! There is a deep scratch across my tablet screen... Ouch! The surface screen is just the protective one above the main LCD screen rite? Do you think replacing it is expensive?
