Hey it seems that there is a 50 percent i got virus in my computer? When my laptop woke up from sleepmode,it is at the log in screen,so i haf to choose the account i want to logback in rite? But strangely is that i got only one account and guest account is off,why do i see two FAHJIADE(My account name) one at the left and at the right?

try this solution. But any passwords / files / folders saved or protected by omnipass would be gone. So please unprotect those files / folders.

Symptoms

After Windows Update (Vista OS), user will notice duplicate login names on the Windows login screen.

This problem may be caused by Omnipass.

Solution

1) Delete Fingerprint/Authentec device from Device Manager, choosing to remove the drivers as well
2) Uninstall OmniPass software and delete the directory it was installed in Programs Files
3) Reboot system
4) Reinstall OmniPass (drivers and application)

The above solution is recommended by Microsoft.

Anyone know the difference between the S6410U offered in NUS and the S6410VB/HVB found outside? Noticed that there ain't any S6410U sold outside (and neither is there a T4220U but instead a T4220VB).

if u look at the specs, it will be different.. the U and VB behind i below is how the manufacturer identify the specs that the laptop inside is built with.

For T4220VB, it means that the model is T4220, while it is equip with Vista Business. For those model like T4220U which is made for University or education institute, it will have special indication. The only difference is the specifications. As for education institute, they will have special arrangement with the vendor to mass produce and sell within the school compound. Therefore there must be a unique model number to differentiate from those that are selling in the retail shop at funan/sim lim.

if u dun nid the updatenavi u can uninstall it.. it onli provides u with drivers update which i personally think is not tt useful unless u encounter problem.

another one would be the v.92 modem.. i untick the start automatically.

so far i onli took away these two.. i'm using T4215..

hi guys!, while i am charging my notebook(1mth old only), i realised that when i hover my arrow on the battery icon it reads "plugged in, not charging" @ 94%. however, it seems that there are no drainage of energy (with adapter plugged in) since it stayed at the same level while i am still using it. anyone facing the same prob? or can explain to me what happened?
