hi,

Supposed i wanna downgrade t4220 with vista to win xp, can I use a t4210 win xp recovery cd to do so?

In the eye of the law, no.

To do it legally, you have to buy a copy of the Window XP and then install on your T4220. :D

It is because your computer available resources is being used up. So when you call upon Shut down, it will be so call ranked as number 1 pending task. but however if you were to browse programs and try to click on it to launch, it will be put on pending task to do also.

So when the CPU have enough resources, it will execute the pending item to process, so when concurrently your program is opening, shut down was execute. Thus result in the error msg then it shut down.

this is based on my own usage. :D

Somehow I think if it really take so long, it must be some problem with the "human resources". I do not believe that they do not shipped in their own products each month. Maybe at least once per month shipment will come in. :D
Oops sorry to indicate that the spares that my friend waited for 5-6months in Ngee Ann Poly is Toshiba Lappy and not fujitsu. So far fujitsu spares lead time is still alright for me.

Toshiba? LoL! Alot of my friends/customers do encounter bad service from them.. Especially on phone call service .. you can wait till like 15-30min just for someone to pickup and talk to you...

You encounter jerky sound? Do a scan on the HDD with a scan tool .. Also try to go to task manager .. check on the CPU usage .. whether it is always on 100% usage or not..

Thanks!

sent to the service center let them do it for you, its kinda hard to explain hot to do it, if you do not have the experience on take the keyboard's key out and put it back, better don't try, let the expert do it. :D

Hi guys,im thinking of getting a Fujitsu Lifebook T series for my Poly usage.

Unfortunally,Singapore Poly's Notebook programme does not include Fujitsu tablet, and as such i am thinking of buying it at the IT Show(Nvm abt discount)

The T4220 is a good choice, but do u think it is possible to ask the Fujitsu staff to downgrade the OS to Windows XP Tablet PC Edition?
Singapore Poly has little support for Vista and instead requires XP Professional for laptops bought outside.Tablet PC Edition is the same as Professional anyway.

Lastly, what is the estimated price for the T4220?

I believe Singapore poly pull out fujitsu from they notebook program due to price as compare over the other brand.

the selling price for T4220 is aroudn $3988 at funan

downgrade this way will have to be done when you purchase, and not by your school, when you purchase request downgrade to XP and lastly bring to your school IT helpdesk to set up the domain if there is any.

No,im not asking my School to downgrade the OS for me(in fact they do,but only to Professional and not Tablet PC Ed) but rather the sales ppl at Fujitsu stall in the IT Show.Do u think AsiaPac(Fujitsu distributer) will also sell some T series with XP preloaded?

If not,if they dont and i have to DIY Downgrade, will the staff give me Windows XP Tablet PC Ed. cd and the COA serial number?

v1020 is a successor for v1010, with minimum spec. change. You can check both set of specs on the Fujitsu Singapore website. There are quite a number of reviews on v1010 on various sites.

I used to, but in the end never liao. I just leave it to charge like nobody business.

The battery lifespan itself will definitely dropped from time to time. So don't expect really fantastic results after a year. However, in my own experience, the battery life is around 1 hour 45 minutes. :D
