The windows 7 cd key is it the 1 below laptop tat windows key?

Sent from Sony E5553 using GAGT

Yes, a 25 alpha numeric key (Product key).
Though when you come to that step, just click skip will do (should still activate from experience).

Also note that in steps that I have written, it would be a clean installation with no files kept - so if you do have files you want to keep, when you reach to the following steps, do select the appropriate options! :)

You may want to back up your files as well.

If you upgrade to Windows 10 before the dateline of 29 July, you will be able to reformat as many times as you like - with which ever method you choose (on this particular fujitsu) - when prompted for cd key, just click skip. :)

There's some sort of hardware hash identification method that basically identifies your laptop as having upgraded before and automatically authenticates it as a genuine windows 10 installation.

However if you upgrade another desktop / laptop (which has not been upgraded before), you will have to pay for a product key - few hundreds $ +/-
