For Gear the battery would be able last longer since it
displays using AMOLED could save a lot of battery. As
for waterproof than I suggest you should go for the
Sony SW2 that model should have waterproof.

Tink not much ppl is buying gear even at the price of $298. Too ex as compared to sony smartwatch 2. Btw, sw2 metal version is sellin at $262 at m1 which is quite cheap, just tat it does not come with camera but is water resistant.

If I use it normally, I can go 3 days before it totally goes flat. Heavy use usually empties it at the end of the 2nd day. The other thing is that it charges really fast since it has a small battery.

The watch will also not die if you splash water on it. It's not completely waterproof, but it's rated IP55 after all, so you can safely wash your hands with it on. Just don't dunk the entire thing in water and stay there. I've actually submerged it for a moment before realizing I shouldn't do that, and it still works. But I wouldn't do that again, knowing that it's rated IP55.

Mine can last two days with some juice left. Pedometer is always enabled. As for design, I think it's probably one the better looking ones already. I have the Pebble and it always looks kind of geeky, especially if you wearing it with a business at attire.

No regrets switching from Pebble to this. Reading notifications is such easier with a touch screen and sharper text. Pebble have to keep pressing the buttons.

I would rather go for a Casio GB6900.

After a month or so, The gear replaces my traditional watch. I charge it every 1-2 days, not an issue. The only issue, if I have to pick on, it is bulky to fit in a long sleeve shirt.

samsung always dish out sub bar initial product, same as note 1, better to wait for gear 2 or source for something else like the one in the vid if it's even legit.

How much does everyone here think is a more appropriate price for a Galaxy Gear?
