there is no benefit running @ 350mhz anymore, you might want to revise your settings ;)

I think it was discovered that there was no cost savings (battery/Speed) setting your min at 350MHz. So why not just start at 700MHz

let me try if setting the min speed at 700mhz will make any diff to my overnight batt drain or not.

My thought is that it will affect active (but light) usage battery drain but not overnight drain (unless your phone syncs lots of stuff overnight) cos it will be sleeping

;) let me know your results!

well it doesn't affect overnight drain because it's in Deep Sleep more than 90% of the time. In terms of current usage, the diff between the 350 and 700mhz is about 100mah (mine is UVed so yours might vary) so I guess u get twice the speed but only a small increase in power usage but I disagree about the comment in xda where they said there is zero increase in power if u switch to 700mhz because it's just not logical and stock also uses 350mhz so if 700mhz was that perfect then why Samsung/Google didn't go with 700mhz in the first place?

i was hoping for an app that can do that.

try widgetlocker. last time my old htc phone also dun have a specific setting for the vol button to wake the phone but using widgetlocker can work. if u dun wana pay for it, try other apps that turn off your lock screen, that might also work

if u want your old apps back after flashing a new rom, use titanium backup to backup your apps and restore when u've successfully flashed the new rom. why use nandroid? nandroid is for full backup of rom plus apps and settings... if u restore using nandroid, u'd lose your new rom.

Nandroid does allow selective /data restoration, but yes, Titanium is still a better choice with more options.

Talking about Nandroid, those backups are really HUGE :s13:
For me I don't keep a Nandroid Backup, just using Titanium Backup.

Storage is a premium on this phone :look:

Hi, could anyone send me the Gapps for AOKP rom? I can't seem to download from their site. It keeps refreshing when the timer hits 0 and restarts back at 10 seconds.
