How to set in such a way, I want 3G and not H+ mode..
I did experience twice, it shutdown and never boot up again, not even after pressing the power button or doing a Bootloader function. I had to remove and put back in the battery before I'm able to start up again. 1st time when it happened, was after taking a few photos then I returned back to main menu...a while later, noticed my phone shutdown itself already..2nd time, cannot rem what happened before. After I switch back to 3G/CDMA (PRL), have not shutdown yet. I'm on AOKP Milestone 3 ROM and Franco Kernel 18.2 before. Now currently on Franco 18.6 with same ROM.

Had one "sleep of death" last night. Not even holding the power button could reboot the phone, had to take out the battery. On AOKP #27 with the kernel that came with it. I can't remember the last time I had one random shutdown like that.
Edit: Didn't try any of those 3G switching stuff.
i did experience that too. like 2 times or so. It rebooted by itself. on aokp26 franco kernel 18.6

I was tempted to try but when I read the thread, seems like still got quite a few bugs and I can't reorder the icons on the nav bar, which is something AOKP can do.

Downloading already..Now performing Nandroid before flashing.. 
From the debug screen..you can see the mode switching
Once you locked down to WCDMA Mode only ..
3G-> UMTS mode, this is what you get when phone is idle and not yet activated data
H-> HSDPA mode, any data session will invoke this H icon, and you will start to see data moving..if you are stuck at 3G icon..basically no data transfer.
Why do you want permanent 3G icon ?
Dont get it wrong..When you get the icon H+..you get the higher transfer rate.

did u managed to get gapps? i keep getting the countdown from 10s to 0s but the download doesn't start

Not possible. Anyway UMTS-only is painfully slow, I don't see why you'd want to do that...

I rooted my GNex to AOKP M4 yesterday. And through the night, my battery level drop 25%. So is betterbatterystats the only app i can use to check what is causing the wakelock?
Was using XXKK6 (the default for singapore sets I think) previously. Flashed UGLA4 yesterday. Don't see much difference so far.

EDIT: WAHHHH ... my dolphin browser finally downloading !!!!
i got GApps but the damn thing doesn't work. Everytime I flash then I'd get all the apps in /system but I can't log into google. In the Settings, Accounts page, when I try to add an account, there's no google account listed there. Clicking on the Market icon also don't work, the screen flashes and then nothing happens. I also tried with older GApps version, same thing.
In the end I just wipe the whole damn thing and start from scratch.. then it workx.
Guess I can't be flashing too often else very ma fan to keep starting from scratch. Or hope they'll implement the script to backup GApps so that whenever we flash a new nightly, the GApps will be restored properly and no need to keep flashing it after every new nightly.

did you use Titanium Backup? I just flashed it earlier today. The market icon is not working. But all you need to do is go to your launcher and drag and drop the icon to your home screen again.

the gapps can be downloaded from wiki page also. just google "gapps download".

yes i got TI Backup but what good does it do for system apps? I did try to backup some system apps that I thought would be the google registration one but didn't work.
I tried launching Market from the app drawer, no use. It's not Market's problem, it's the fact that there's no Google Account in the Accounts and Sync page. I also tried clearing the Cache and all that, doesn't work. Anyway doesn't matter, I already did my full wipe and reinstalled everything from start.
