When using VoLTE, my caller number non display dun work. Disabled it then the caller number non display works. Any one encounter such issue or any solution to this?

You gonna report this to singtel.. perhaps they haven't patch the software bug..

Those of you who is using the old data plan of 12GB but with 4G VAS, do not try to upgrade.

If upgrade, the data cap will drop to the current existing data amount which in my case is 2GB.

Fortunately, I didn't upgrade due to multi-sim which won't be compatible. Activating this should not drop your allowance as there is no new contract. Please confirm?

VoLTE is valid only for those who sign/recontract under the new plan (Jul 1st 2012 onwards)

The arrows doesn't go off even if u go down to wcdma(3g) and choose not to use VoLTE... does it mean that VoLTE is also supported on 3G network? Haha...

No. When 4G downgrade to 3G, the feature will not be supported. However this is how the android system works, probably will change in the near future.

The arrows will only disappear when you turn off the VOLTE function..

can someone confirm, when using 4G Clearvoice calling to non-4G Clearvoice or landline, the Note 3 still maintain the 4G signal? and similarly, when receiving call from landline/non-4G clearvoice handset, the 4G Clearvoice is still activated? Thanks.

4G clearvoice requires both parties to support the same technology, if not the feature will not exist. This is what is called *paired benefit*.

Your 4G clearvoice is always activated once u called in to request for it. Your phone will also show HD call even if u call a non supported handset.

The call connection will automatically change to conventional connection.

If you ask if you would lose ur 4G when calling a non supported handset, then the answer is no. The reason is the connection is still riding om 4G bandwidth but the qualoty and connecting time are downgraded to conventional quality.

No leh. It doesn't disappear even if I turned off, that was what I was trying to drive at. Probably just a sw bug.

This thread is specially created for users on VoLTE.

Currently this is supported by singtel mobile for users using note 3.

Firmware update to NE4 is necessary to use VoLTE, and then you are required to call 1688 to activate 4G ClearVoice.

Once activated, you will receive a brand new red and green horizontal arrow that indicated active LTE voice feature.

I have activated mine and is thrilled by that less than a second connection time to get a call connected.

Feel free to share any technical issues here..

Do you have any issues on firmware NE4, after upgrading. With the previous upgrade I am not very caution on there upgrades.

I have no issues on NE4 at the moment..

So far samsung updates are pretty stable if you do the clearing of cache and reset the phone for major updates...

Interesting. Mine got activated like within 2 hours when i request for activation 2 weeks back. I guess more and more people knew about 4G Clear Voice and are asking for activation....

Also do check is your firmware NE4.
