Galaxy Note 5 sleeping issue

I've checked the software version at the shops (samsung, singtel or m1). The model number listed as SM-N920X which is different than ours SM-N920I even software version is not the latest one. Im wondering the display model is different than what they sell to customer? I've been testing/playing note 5 since the launch day almost everyday at the shops and finally bought it, i didnt encounter any issue at all while testing with the display set.... im really sad now with my note, this sleeping issue is really bad.

Asked that before. Those demo set is so call the "international" version.

i turn off SMART STAY.. it seen smooth as for now

I off most of the SMART features including this, still kenna minor sleeping issues.

It's not that they can't ressolve i think, unless it's a critical bug or sales affecting bugs, they'll put them all in the next major update and release together.

When you try to unlock the phone, the phone is unresponsive for a few seconds.

Sleeping beauty is when the phone could not be unlocked immediately. There is a delay before the phone shows the unlock screen with your unlocking options (swipe, password, pattern, fingerprint, etc). Sometimes, the phone will hang for a while before you can unlock.

No sleeping beauty occurs when the moment you press the Home button or the Power button, the unlock screen appears with your unlocking options without delay and the phone does not hang when unlocking.

Hope this is clear.

How about samsung apps? Weird leh, I was having terrible sleeping beauty last week until I very dulan. After that I never experience liao. Still monitoring lor

Yea last week the sb issue can last up to 20 to 30 secs.

Now lesser times and only the most 3 to 5 secs

I got this feeling is it the FB app that is causing SB problem. Because a few times I noticed when kena SB issue, FB app also hang. Now wondering if those without SB issue are their FB app disabled or not logged in?

U kena sb during fb because u fb most of the time. For me I game most of the time... So when I kena also kena the game. Nothing to do with the fb application. It can randomly happen anything anywhere. In short is a note5 and edge+ kuai LAN cat version

No it's like I kena wake lag when oning screen and after it recovers, when open FB app, it will be in a hang stage......not kena when using fb

Nope. No luck. In fact, My phone is starting to see more frequent sleeping issue.

gave this a try yesterday and so far never encountered the issue for whole morning. shall see for another few days.

i factory reset twice and it doesn't help at all. now trying the disable quick launch and it seems to be working.
if after few days and there is no problem then will feedback to samsung singapore and let them work towards this direction. hopefully they can solve this issue then no need to disable quick launch.
