Makes sense. Part number/batch number may be the same but S/N should never be the same.

So this clarifies that the batteries he is selling are NOT ORIGINAL as he claims although it might not be an issue if the batteries perform as it should.

It is just not right if you are selling fakes but claiming they are original. I've pm-ed him about it and his reply is "ok then?". Hopefully he will be able to clarify on this with a proper explanation about the authenticity of his products and here is his irresponsible reply.

Seriously what are you trying to prove? If you are so free, go ahead and ask someone who bought my battery to go to samsung shop or whatever to prove that i am selling fakes, i am getting ready if i am being accused of something that i've never done.

I am not trying to prove anything or accusing you of anything but just seeking an explanation on whether your stuff are really original as you claim they are but he is getting all worked up and defensive here.

i am getting directly from samsung distributor, in fact these parts are service parts. And for your information, if someone dare to sell fake samsung products in Korea, best of luck to him. If anyone can prove my batteries are fake, they can anytime contact me.

Just take the serial number of the battery he's selling and clarify with Samsung.

The problem is he probably has stocks of batteries with the exact same serial number, the serial number could be real but what happens if there are tonnes of batteries with the same serial number?

Give him a chance to clarify the matter. If he refuses to do so, buyer beware then. Go buy from Samsung shop for a peace of mind.

k i had been wanting to know a definitive way of checking batt authenticity for some time riao. From visual check to weight check (but i dun have weighing scale) etc :o

Now that the can of worms has been opened again....i did a visual check on the batt, nothing definitive except label difference....for those of u who noticed an earlier post of mine, that serial code can be found online. Not sure what that means though :o

Had not run enough cycle on the batt in question to notice anything significant too....

Did mentioned that Vic's question on the serial number is legit, coz im curious too. I might be sending my note2 for screen replacement tmr, perhaps will take the opportunity to check on the batt but whatever the ans fr sammy i guess its only right to let webby clarify.

Prior to this also tried scanning the QR code on both my batt. Both yield response but I have no idea what it means...perhaps those of u who knows how to check for batt authenticity can clarify. Not trying to prove anything but personally purchased it based on trust coz had no issue with the one for Note1...

EB595675LU should be the Part Number of the battery.

How about everyone just post the S/N of their battery now?

I'll start with mine:

S/N: AA1CA12MS/2-B

OK sure, let's hope that Samsung Korea will give a conclusive answer just like Samsung SG or probably a different answer. Guess some of your customers will also want to know if it's possible that serial numbers can be the same and whether your batteries are original or not. :)

I am not accusing you of anything But just seeking a clarification on this matter since this is what Samsung SG told me and you were pretty crude with your replies via PM. You did mention before that your batteries are definitely original from your own samsung distributor and these parts are service parts, anyone with evidence to prove they aren't can approach you which I did so.

Yes, if you are able to verify that they are original (since I am able to prove they are not) based on serial numbers (yes this particular serial number is real but it will not be real if its printed on various batteries) or any other way, then i will gladly offer you an apology here for everyone to witness.

Been looking flip cover everywhere but no one seems to have the grey one. Funan Challenger, Singtel Hello Shop, etc. If anyone sighted this (grey flip cover), please let me know. Thanks

I can vouch for webby, I have ordered Original Batteries and cradle for my 3x S3, Note 1, S2 (200mah) from eBay korea and they all come in identical packaging as his. With service sealed. Those of you who have ordered from eBay Korea b4 would understand what I mean. I can somehow say his goods are reliable, unless u all stand to say eBay Korean sellers sell fakes

Firstly, the person who replied you agrees that batch number can be the same, if the serial number is not the batch number, where can i find it on the battery? :)

Secondly, did you buy any of my battery? No. If you have bought my battery then you have all the rights to accuse me. I don't owe you any answer and i could have ignored you totally. Thirdly, none of those people who bought from me questioned me about authenticity of the product. None of them had any problem with those batteries i've sold to them including those who bought Note I battery.

Fourthly, you are causing a ruckus here and definitely it won't end with just an apology. :)

Kasia at Suntec.

I might buy a compatible battery with charger from gmarket. Dunno how well they work though.

Qoo10-Singapore(New Gmarket) - MP3 / Mobile / eBook - HARI RAYA SPEC...

Not sure it it is a 2A charger. Also I had bad experience with these particular brand of batteries whichi bought for s2. The batteey output will slowly deplete. Resulting in insufficient power to boot up my s2 - it ended up looping back on reaching the s2 logo...refusing to boot further. Had to so a hard reset.

how long have you been using on your s2?

i'm using it on my Note1 for at least half a year. so far so good. i bought 2 pieces that comes with the wall charger. better rates on ebay than gmarket link posted earlier. so better to find more sources. i just ordered another 3 pieces for my Note1. if this 2nd batch doesnt fail me, i will buy for Note2 also.

Lol not this. This

It appears that EB595675 is the Part Number for the battery, whereas the last 2 digits probably signify the region it is for. Korea seems to be LK.

The S/N is printed quite clearly just below the P/N. I think if we can get people to post their numbers, we might have a clearer idea whether if it's possible for Samsung to use the same S/N.
