Typically flash sales won't have additional ps+ discount, so ps+ subscription not needed.

There's additional 15% discount for PS+ members. I don't know the net price after 15%, typically additional PS+ discount is applied to the original price (not the sale price). UK has free 14 days PS+ trial, can activate that if you want (one time only obviously). The game is USD 29.99 or CAD 39.99 on NA stores.

Post this here as well, for awareness:

Canadian PSN card (for adding $ to psn wallet) and Canadian PS+ card (for subscribing to PS Plus) work on Canada PSN. You will need to create a Canada PSN account to redeem them (similar process as creating US account),

Canadian PSN store is identical to US PSN store, same sale etc., just that each is in their local currency. You will find that on the Canada store the prices are either (a) scale according to exchange rate (1 USD=~1.36 CAD), so something USD10 on US store will be CAD13.6 on Canada store, or (b) numeric equivalent, does not scale, so something USD10 will be sold at CAD10 on Canada store. Many games (new and old, AAA or indie, especially indies) are using (b) pricing. Obviously this means those games are cheaper on Canada store. (btw, CAD is almost 1:1 to SGD, currently 1 CAD = 1.07 SGD.) Last time US PS+ subscription was USD 50, and Canada PS+ was CAD 50, so cheap, now adjusted to scale liao.

The only drawback of using Canada account is that we only know of 1 good source (PC Game Supply) for purchasing the PSN cards (electronic delivery, priced at the same as face value of the card, no markup). Amazon Canada does not deliver electronically, only physical card. And that lowest denomination is CAD20.

Just created my Canadian account. I assume the PSN store does not allow SG-based credit card? On the 3DS side, the Nintendo e-shop does allow, so most people point their eshops to Canada, Alberta, for ease of online shopping.

Got to say I am disappointed. Day of the Tentacle is a very good game (point-and-click adventure) but I already bought it (at Canadian $6, which is around SGD6). Blazerush I bot on PC in a US$1.49 bundle with 9 other racing games. Titan Souls I bot on PC in a US$1.00 bundle with 2 other games. And then we get a match-three game in Azkend 2 which I bot at SGD1.20 on Android. I don't have This War of Mine (I do know about the game, just not my taste) but it's currently SGD4 on Steam. Really piss poor in terms of value for money

Alienation should be a good game. Goat Simulator was us$2.99 recently, so not value for money. Net High seems to be Japanese only. The rest are follow the leader or playing catch up (Actual Sunlight was Oct IGC). Still not bad lah.

Oh got another Toro theme, nice. So far the Toro themes are very good. Got Gravity Rush theme too.

Sidetrack a bit, talking about top down twin stick shooters, I was hoping PS+ will give Livelock. Was tempted to get it in a recent sale but didnt cos never heard of anyone else playing. If PS+ gives for free at least got chance to co-op.

LOL, those PC bundles cheap cheap (like $1-3 for 5-10 games, some times got promo buy 1 set get 1 set free, or even buy 1 get 3), just buy, buy already never play lah. (Think I have over 1000 games on Steam liao, lmao, lots of crap though.) I only play all the hidden object game bundles and point & click adventure games

But I did try Blazerush though, not bad, got diff cars (more speed or more tank, there's vehicular combat in the game), need to get 3 stars on each track, can upgrade cars, etc. Pretty much what you would expect. Some levels it's not about being faster than other cars but trying to survive longest (there's 'boss' chasing after you all). I didn't finish though, got bored, main issue to me is that it's top down and the track/camera doesn't rotate based on your car's perspective. It's the radio controlled cars concept, RC games are always like that but hard to get used to. (lol, I am so happy that yakuza 6 the mini map can rotate, same concept. No it's not my sense of direction lousy ok )

Day of Tentacles bot on ps4 also havent played but it was one of my fav point & click games from childhood, still remember how brilliant it was. Spoiler a bit, there's time travel element and you got to think that to solve puzzles, like you cannot get something on top of a tree, then you go travel to the past, trick George Washington to chop down that cherry tree, come back can get liao. Just one simple example of the brilliant puzzles. Pretty funny game too. Must play.
