PS. I bought the Canada PS+ subscription code a year ago and redeemed it on US psn account successfully (ie. it worked as US PS+ subscription), don't know about now. Good alternative if you missed the us$40 US PS+ from Amazon during black friday (assuming it still works, dont blame me if it doesnt - if it doesn't work, Canada PS+ is actually better anyway, unless you have already accumulated lots of free games from US PS+).

Very sorry to hear that. It worked last Feb when I bought from pcgamesupply and worked for others since then. Sadly, looks like Sony changed it now .

I hope you are still able to use the Canada subscription. Canada does have better price on many games and have the same sales and freebies... but unfortunately if you have already been a US Plus member it will mean losing your acquired free game library. Maybe can sell to someone new to PS+ who wants a NA region subscription.

It's only 10% off. And sometimes pcgamesupply charges an 'activation fee' during checkout. I think it applies to us$20 cards (so if you buy $20, it's cheaper to buy 2x $10, since $10 no activation fee). Not sure about us$50. iirc remember Canada cards no activation fee when I bot $20 and $50. Not a big saving if there is additional fee.

Quite likely to be pricing error, though don't see any reason for them to want to change anything on Monday (EU store update is Wednesday our time). It's not N7 Day either. Also not like some EA celebration (like last time when they gave Mirror's Edge, PvZ, etc for free). Will grab it first, see if it sticks, thanks.

Come to think of it, this could actually be a timed trial. There used to be one available for Andromeda (available to everyone, not just PS+), lets you play a handful of hours or certain areas in the open world. It's not the first time EU psn store lists a trial game as full game (can't remember which others but there's a couple that's still mislabeled today).

Now the base Andromeda game has been removed actually, replaced with "Standard Recruit edition" and "Deluxe Recruit edition" (they come with "In-game purchases optional" in the description). This means either: the free game is trial only (not full game), the game has gone free-to-play, or pricing error.
