It automatically sends you to the psn store based on the region of your currently logged in psn account. Log out from your sg account, then log in using a US account. (If you are using a web browser on PC, you dont have to log in any account if you just want to browse the items and prices.)

If you dont have a US or Canada account, create one:
Guide: How to create US/UK/JP PSN accounts

Then buy US/Canada psn card digitally from pcgamesupply or amazon (see the 2nd post in this same Game Deal thread) to top up your US/Canada account's wallet.

To be honest, free Destiny 2 isn't very useful. To play Destiny games, you must keep up with the DLC expansions. If you don't pay money for the expansions, your experience is limited to low level loots and low level activities (which you won't find other players to play with cos they only yield low level loots, not to mention that they tend to remove existing contents with new expansion releases). The base game might as well be free-to-play bait to make you buy the expansions. And buying the 3 expansions separately ($20 for the first 2 together, $40 for the upcoming third) costs the same as the latest bundle of base game and 3 expansions (at $60).

I have already played everything I want to play during the recent free play weekend (all story campaign, all contents except raid/nightfall and such cos I only played solo, and it was level capped, so the expansion stuffs were not accessible even though they were there).

If you didn't participate during the free play weekend, it is still worth playing through the campaign. The gun play is still very shiok. But for longer term continued progression, you need heavy commitment in money and time.

PS. Foul Play is nice, a beat 'em up with unique setting.

Is it difficult to earn the platinum trophy, with just the base game?

It was easy previously, now no, cos an expansion took away something. From the trophy guide:

The Prestige - Complete the Leviathan raid on Prestige difficulty.

Please note: As of December 12, 2017, the Nightfall option has been removed from this trophy. The only ways to complete this trophy now are to do the Leviathan raid on Prestige (300). Prestige Eater of Worlds or Spire of Stars will not unlock this trophy.

This is the most difficult trophy in the game. Prestige changes the way each of the challenge rooms works in addition to making the enemies more difficult.

Difficulty Note: The difficulty poll is skewed towards those who played, voted, and platted the game early. This is no longer the case and is incorrect. Because of the changes to The Prestige trophy, Destiny 2 is now an 8.5-9 difficulty. Prestige mode in Leviathan is very, very difficult and you cannot use one of the shorter raid lairs for the trophy.
