Hey guys! What sort of desks are u guys using for ur pc gaming? I’m not into electronic desk moving up & down. Therefore comparing omnidesk kenshi or the secret lab desk. Any other desks to consider?

It does look very very good. But i have decided to be more cost effective. (Actually is poor) 😅 just bought the omni desk kenshi for $366 after discount. Size is similar or bigger than secret lab’s desk! 60” non electriconic desk

I love those electric desks that can go up and down but use real wood. Very premium look and price. Too bad, I made mine custom using carpentry. Also cheaper and have a cleaner look since you can make it to anything you want. So mine includes a custom cable management area on my desk where I can hide all my cables including the power plugs.
Typical prices of carpentry is $120 per feet. Sometimes can be cheaper depending on which carpenter you use.

I do have the SecretLab Magnus Desk and it's pretty damn nice. No issues so far. Abit expensive but I think it's worth it given the build quality. But with the price increase now not so sure if it's worth it.

That’s a heavy pc lol. A lot of liquid in the singularity case. Haha
Yeah haha. Plus I have an extra distribution plate on the front. It is only going to get heavier once I upgrade my from EKWB PE to the XE. Luckily for me though I'm still deadlifting so ok. 🤣🤣🤣

Oddly though. I use to own the corsair 900D with dual 480mm rads and all pure copper waterblocks. That was the heaviest and sat on my Ikea Galant table like a champ. Lol

The ikea galant is still the best series i have ever own. Till now i regret buying omnidesk.

Wah the 900D is a behemoth! Dual 480mm is mad. Guess must be the good old days. :)
I never really considered Omnidesk cause I did not find it that great in terms of design and wire management.
When the Magnus came out, it checked all the boxes of what I needed in a desk. Yes, it is expensive but I personally managed to clean up alot of wire clutter. And due to this, I have also now moved to a wireless keyboard. Next would be mouse but right now there just is'nt anything spectacular in terms of wireless mice.

Gaming desks?

Invest more money in hardware...
I have been using a 4-tiered chrome wire rack for almost 5 years. rated for 100kg per tier, keeps tower off the floor and doubles as foot rest. Middle 2 tiers has laminated plywood...
Downside is depth.. so not ideal for curved monitor setup since your kb/mouse is close to screen.
But hey... Way more storage space.

Next pc desk, I'll probably go ikea table top bolted down to 2 drawers
