Never kenna openly accused as un-independent already very good. How to be transparent and perceived independent as a bunch of civil servants? Seems quite easy actually, there's some principles and execution that can be lifted from Polling Day. Just like there's polling agents to watch for anomalies and counting agents to contest voting slips that are unclear, the EBRC can invite 1-10 observers from every registered political party. 1 for those without a single Parliamentary seat. Just like we see realtime vote count, just like we see live Parliament sessions and have full recordings of these, we can also have a continual broadcast of the decision-making that won't violate PDPA or OSA. See how the observers behave, see how the civil servants behave, see who uses what kind of logic to cut here trim there GRC here SMC there. Maybe some observers can have a say in the formation of constituencies within demographic zones that their parties largely did not contest in for the last 2 consecutive elections.
