He was still allowed to gracefully resign after a years long affair with his colleague. Also from Parliament.

Incumbent for Jalan kayu precinct Ng Ling Ling when it was under AMK GRC previously is no more part of the team.
1. If she did a good job and was removed, not very likely
2. If she did not do a good job and was removed then NCM has Ben sent on suicide mission
3. Or it is such a safe place that PAP feels they can win anyways irrespective of the incumbent's performance

My Guess is it is 3.
Lot of landed properties in this area so bread butter issues, jobs may not be so important here
