Even though Ah Bock was a advisor for a long time, his previous experience is dated at 2006.
And the system already handed down all the procedures to him at that time.
Not sure he can start the system from zero.
The good thing is LP is helping them at the moment.
So, he may be the game changer if they win.

As for the comparison with LTK, LTK already won a SMC and managed it by himself.
I am not sure whether it is a apple to apple comparison.
Even though Ah Bock is the founder, it is time that he pass the baton to LMW liao.
Once again, there is no right or wrong.

No opposition in Singapore has ever won a GRC without any prior experience of running a SMC. Low Thia Khiang runs Hougang TC for 20 years before moving to Aljunied. His experience in running Hougang TC gave Aljunied residents the confidence to vote for his team. PSP should send its star candidates to capture a SMC first to show voters what they can do before gunning for a GRC. I am afraid PSP will be completely wiped out in this GE, hope to be proven wrong though.

I mean, they were 2% away from winning a GRC so your point is a moot one.

But I feel they should have put Stephanie or Lawrence in this GRC. 2 minority candidates might be overkill.

Let's recall the number of times Whiteys went all their way out to BLOCK and DENY Mr TCB

1) Changed 2016 Presidential Election to reserved for Malay Candidate
2) Increased Capital Requirements for experience from civil office holders and private sector
3) Gerrymandering and destroyed the previous GRC which PSP and TCB did very well and spent many time walking the ground

My take is that there will always be some best practices, some evergreen principles that will never change through the decades. That's where TCB can anchor, or not anchor but mentor, consult. But of course all the old connections are gone and he must rely on the rest of the team to leverage the current era connections and form new ones so as to run the TC and MPS properly. Good thing is everybody already seen how WP suffered all the dirty tricks when they had to startup and manage Aljunied, Hougang and Sengkang TC. Don't repeat the mistakes, anticipate the dirty tricks, maybe even collab or outsource with WP on TC day-to-day admin matters if WP is willing to help.
