I meant his original surname is still widely searchable. Where's the story about him suing the local journalists for digging out his name?

I need to retrieve that information. After the court case, the journalist had to removed his polytechnic yearbook/grad photo and name online. She mentioned about the lawsuit on her social media account and there was a platform which people were discussing about it.

I am just curious what the lawsuit is about given these are mere facts (and his previous surname is still freely searchable). Feel free to PM me if you feel more comfortable doing that.

I dun think Focus was trying say LKY and GCT was invalid.

Their ideas and productive years was all when they were much younger, towards the twilight of their careers, they are just.... there. But LKY at least has some wisdom gems once in a while during interviews etc.

Do you live in Jurong? How you know it won't blend well with some residents. According to my relatives and their neighabours, they are unsatisfied with the current parachuted mp Shawn huang, who insulted some residents during his first and last visit at their estate end of last year.

Yup. Shawn changed his surname to a Chinese one, right before the GE2020, to appeal to the Chinese voters. But my relatives living there smelled his bull sheet of playing the racial card. While he can change his surname, to whatever crap he likes, he can't change his race on IC. I dug out his past to find out that he sued one of the local journalists for publishing his polytechnic yearbook or graduation photo, which stated his Indo Surname. I saw that article and his picture and name to confirm that he went by his Indo surname for many years. I investigated further to discover that one of Shawn's relatives, a younger one, serves in the airforce (military, I can't remember), but retain his Indonesian name. I also read from a source that claimed that during the NDP, he was reprimanded for taking the food not for him and his response was unacceptable. As for his name change, this goes to show that Shawn will do anything, including betraying his Indonesian background to advance his political interest.

yes. Based on the video, and back when he was the parade commander for NDP 2018, he wasn't huang back then.

Wow, didn't know he got sued.

But changing to a Chinese surname, really just to entice the local folks and because of election is really sick

the 505 market renovation saga is being covered by PAP supporters. Till this day, the issue affects many residents. The issue still persist though
