After this GE, any good talented Singaporean who keen to join the opposition will probably join WP over PSP

That y its important to keep at least 20% to 30% population poor. With this amount of population poor then they will value the $1 foodstamps and be grateful for small handout.

As a first world country where 50% dont pay tax mean 50% earn less than $20k per annum... yet ministars can claim to be worldclass. Shocking.

What is shocking is Singaporeans are so selfish.

You tried so hard but the people didn't appreciate you. Really respect your efforts and everything you did. I understand that with all the gerrymandering, it is really difficult to even have the chance to be elected as a member of the opposition.

You earn less or you have a lot of deductibles you don't pay tax. How is it not poor?

When we want opposition, it does not mean we hate the PAP. Don't be confused.

They put up a good fight. But it was never fair fight to being with. Sad to see LMW and Hazal no longer able to voice out for Singaporean. They put their face out for Singapore and voicing out many things. Haiz.

WP now have to work a lot harder to voice out alternative views.

We only have them left as our only hope.

Every policy or bill or policy change relies on them now to question rationale and basis.
