I was surprised that of all ministers, they sent Gan to Punggol. How can they think an old man is a good fit for a GRC with so many young families and young people? Ong Ye Kung would have been a better choice.

It's like thinking sleepy Joe Biden is a vote puller.

Me and my wife were thinking CCS, as the pagar team was not announced until nomination day.

GE2025 Punggol has HS, AD (and even SA) to pull in votes

CCS is an objective person. He will speak factually. And people know and will be willing to listen more.

He is bad at attacking people or defending people. Not his nature to do so

CCS seems to be given the freedom to front things. You don't see anyone chup his matters

I raised my eyebrows when GKY was shifted to ponggol. He isnt really a vote puller. I stay in the west and CCK GRC is just nearby. I cant even 'feel' him, not to say ponggol

That said. I dont know the ground sentiments at ponggol. My comments may be logical, but people vote with emotions

Think PAP has neglected the long standing transport congestion concerns of Punggol residents for too long already and that could be the tipping point for voters to choose WP this time for a change.

The roads all converged to kpe tunnel.. best part they put one erp to rake in big $$.

Not to mention the everchanging roads.. one day 2 lane. Another day 1 lane.. .. another day become turn right only..

Alot of cyclists on the punggol roads too.. especially near the golf range area

2 lane lrt carriages seems timed to happen in ge 2025 to show they got do work?

Pub works around punggol digital districts as well.. taking up lanes of roads to store their stuffs

Punggol residents deserves better, so do all Singaporeans. It’s time to effect real changes. Let’s no longer stick to status quo. Without WP and other Opposition, PAP simply won’t listen.

I don’t think it will work this time. HSK East Coast plan end up becoming nothing? Punggol residents will be smart enough to realise PAP sent a lame duck over this time. Voting for PAP means you get only 1 good MP in SXL. If vote workers party, you get better MPs overall.
