Can't really tell since I have nothing else to compare with. Bought them to connect my MBA -> V-Link II -> HA26D right from the start.

Oh. Coz i using oyaide neo usb cable. And audio quest one quite affordable at amazon. Tot wanna hoot and try lol

If you happen to come down to the AT meet then can swap and test out :D

Forest series is the most affordable one from Audioquest, can't get myself to buy even the cinnamon series, let alone carbon or coffee.

I'm using this one from A&B Systems
Power & signal is separated, though they eventually join at 1 USB connector
SQ is quite decent, only US$45 for 2m
