You have chance to get it again .. haha.
My buy price was at 1.19 ...

now after that announcement, i will wait until they hit 9X cents if that will ever happen. what i like about sabana is the dividend payout. it was so high. but if they will reduce 22% , that will translate to around 6.9% only. thats not really that attractive.

Agree. They still have trouble finding tenants for their new acquisition at chai chee lane. I happen to work in that building ;)

buy a building that is half empty. then cannot find tenants to occupy for so many months already. what sort of lousy manager is this?

for me, i had to buy. i bought sabaana when it was like 1.26. so i had to average down. so i bought it again at 1.015.

did they just change the manager? damn, now the dividend is only 7 percent, what the crap.

I think chances of it going up to 9.xx is higher than dropping to 0.7xx Does the name of the Executive Director (Board of Directors | Starhill Global Reit) ring a bell to you? :D

Hi all, i am a newbie who is new to reits and would like to get some advice here. A little background info about me, I just started investing using OCBC BCIP on Nikko ETF. And since then I am very interested to diversify my portfolio to reits for long term holding.

After reading many threads here, I am still confuse on when to enter the market. In other words, when is the good price to buy that reit I want?

Take Cache Logistics Trust for example, I wanted to buy but the price keep rising. I've been tracking it for a month already and can't seems to find a price to enter.

So normally how do you guys determine what price to buy?

Thanks alot!

Don't buy REITs now ba. Unless you confident that it will continue to go up. I think more than 85% of the REITs price already went up by around 8% or more since last December. Personally I feel REITs will still be doing good for the next one to two years, but at current price I don't think I will enter because I not so confident if the REITs will go even higher. You already miss the opportunity, if you have buy in Feb or so, easily you get 10% paper gain. Alternative you look for REITs that haven't appreciate much and still got potential. I recommend SoilbuildBiz (industrial/logistic I think) and OUE COM Reits (office), I think they still cheap and near to their IPO price and their yield should be around 6% to 7%. As compare to Suntec / Cap Comm / FCT all around 5% currently.

Thanks for your valuable advice. I've been tracking a few reits and true to that, they all keep going up and hardly come down. Especially after looking at the price a few months ago, man I really missed the boat by alot.

Will look at the reits that you mentioned. But usually how do you pick your reits? Must I do a FA & TA everytime to decide the entry price?

Ask the TAFA master Wakao. LOL. I normally will observe the price and trend before I went in. As long as not the highest I think still quite safe. Remember the price for REITs seems to be cylindrical. Maybe next six months will start to drop back to lowest. So does it make any sense to buy now? And of course you need to research on the REITs you are investing first before investing. Currently if you investing in Singapore REITs, maybe go for office REIT, then Healthcare REIT, then hospitality REIT, then retail REIT and lastly industrial / logistic REIT. If don't have cheap and good REITs, then don't buy. This is what I learn since I started investing. Some time hand itchy, go buy and in the end regret.

Below is the price increase till Mid Apr, now I think many REITs have increase by at least 8%. Once I got the latest update from my broker I will try paste here so you can decide yourself what to buy.
