Why expert investors prices are higher than existing shareholders? To reward the shareholders ah?

Is it advisable to round up to the nearest 100 shares or lot? What are the chances to get odd lots if i don't round down?

My guess is a combination of a few factors.
First, markets are expecting global trade to slow down due to tariffs. So a global recession is looking very likely. In a recession, the central banks around the world including US Fed would cut rates. Lower rates benefit REITs.

Second, and this is specifically on why PLife chiong the most. My theory is because hospitals and nursing homes are completely not affected by Tariffs. PLife doesn't export products to the US market. Healthcare sector is generally more resilient.

Third, generally speaking, tariffs don't affect REITs business model directly. I guess if the economy weakens and people start to get retrenched, maybe the retail REITs might be affected eventually as consumers cut back on discretionary spending.

I wonder if funds moving out of riskier assets to safer assets is the reason why some reits are moving upwards a lot more today.

I think it's a lot more simpler than that: expectation of lower interest rates. By doing this, Trump is forcing the Fed's hand by killing the mkt. Scott Bassent is getting exactly what he wants: a lower 10 yr treasury yield, now flight to safety u see 10YT plunge from 4.2% to 4.0%. Lowering interest rates means weaker USD which also benefits the trade deficit using weaker currency to export. At least that's their plan

FFR expectations also moved down, which inversely correlates with REITs
