For all Genting Visitor information : -

Bus terminal is now relocated at the Mushroom Farm Bus Terminal. For the convenience of our valued customers, shuttle service is provided from First World Hotel to Mushroom Farm Bus Terminal vice versa at an interval of 15mins from 3.00am to 9.00pm and at an interval of 30mins from 9.15pm to 2.45am on a daily basis.

There are also signages to indicate Lane 3 and destinations at First world Hotel and there are staffs manning these both locations, i.e. First World Hotel, Lane 3 and Mushroom Farm Bus Terminal.

Hope can see Singapore style on the new bus terminal.

Hmmm best bet its that the Bus Terminal might be finish in 1 year bah..if 2 years lol it would be around the time for the new theme park launched.

Going down to mushroom farm to take bus bk is 1 thing. To have to take shuttle bus/walk up from mushroom farm to hotel @4am on arrival is gg. @_@

My coach dropped us outside FWH lobby on arrival @ 5am.

More info about the bus terminal:

"Hi XXXXX, the ex-First World Bus Terminal will be transformed into tower 3 & 4 of First World Hotel.
The Mushroom Farm Bus Terminal will be utilized for the next 2 years on a temporary basis.
The permanent First World Bus Terminal will be operational, tentatively in YR 2016 at the parade square (Padang Kawat) which is located North of Mushroom Farm Bus Terminal around 400 Meters."

"Hi XXXX, the bus to Chin Swee Temple is deployed from B5 Resort Hotel and Lane 3 of First World Hotel.
The departure time is on an hourly basis from 9.00am to 9.00pm.
There is no service at 1.00pm as this is the break time for the drivers and the service resumes at 2.00pm onwards till 9.00pm."

That is for bus service to chin swee temple.
For FWH to RH and vice versa not sure.

Hi all, just come back from genting yday nite. To those who always stay at Resort Hotel please beware of any bed bug. We found one bed bug yday morning at room 15101... Regret never take any photo as proof...

Yes, just got back myself. Stayed in 10530. They were fumigating half the rooms on that floor. Don't know what good that will do to the bed bugs. I think need to replace all the beds. But I don't think they would spend that sort of money. Still had the old 32" CRT TV in the room.

rh I thought all lcd TV?

I stayed at maxims aka highland hotel on Jan this year, my room the TV is really the old kind, not even lcd.

Ah! got all mixed up. Stayed in Maxim, not RH. You could well be right.

just drove up last saturday with my friends,
Tuas - Petronas 2330pm
reach Genting 0230am

big mistake!

they are having poker competition, so no rooms available.
end up play till 0600am, had breakfast in Hong Yun when they open,

wanted to sleep short time at half-hill but end up hoot 2 more redbull, drove str back to Singapore, reach 1400pm.

nice trip, feels good to go back to the mountains once in a while.
