anyone managed to check-in early into fwh before?

iirc can get queue number from 3-4am onwards and the queue number will start running at 9am onwards.

I am going up 22-24 July. FWH. If I had known the cable car ride cost me 5GP instead of 1GP each way, would have booked Resort Hotel instead. Haha.

Following trip would be 19-21 Aug.

the reason i'm asking is because i have to make my way down to KL for a lunchtime appointment. If i reach at 4-5am in the morning and get a queue number from the self-check-in kiosk, what happens if i miss my queue number? can i still check-in when i return from KL in the late afternoon or evening at night?

then you might as well call them and request for a late check in and then check in when you're back in Genting.

Saw on Genting website can book Maxim for 28GP a nite. Quite tempted to book for Oct. See how.

Think they will hold room for you till 6pm. Check your booking confirmation email (if u had booked online).

To play safe, do inform the service staff at the check-in counter of your plans so that they can hold the room for you.

bro ringswraith and Vaxvms I booked my trip to Genting liao. 29-31 July staying fwh. total 2 rooms, 4 ppl going up.

haha I wanted resort hotel but my friend's card not enough points so we both booked fwh instead. my group suddenly increased to 6 people. so 3 guys have to share one room hahaha.

okay check your dates and let me know. we booked flight to KL liao. afternoon flight though, reaching KLIA at 2pm.

if u straight away want to sleep inside the room once u reach then u have to book a room for 9 July.

Just want to let you know that if in future you need to make up a few points to book Resort Hotel you can buy the GP. It is a straight purchase. No gambling whatsoever. It would cost you RM23 per GP using the Roulette machine.

Genting Hotel is now Genting Grand. And Highlands Hotel is now Maxims Hotel.

Hi experts!

Will be driving to genting for the first time from the 8th Aug to 11th Aug. I need some advice on the carpark over at first world hotel. As I m most probably gonna set off at 12am from SG, plus a few rest points (Coz first timer), I would probably reached ard 6/7am, I am quite worried in getting a parking lot over at the multi-storey carpark.

Any advice? Coz i asked the Resort world genting, they said there is no way to reserve a parking lot before going while some of my other friends did have the experience of reserving before going.

Another question, is setting off at 12am ok to avoid the traffic jams (hari raya on the 8th Aug)? Or is it advisable to leave much earlier?
