Those visiting Genting during the CNY period, pls take note of the following:

We would like to inform you that all complimentary meal vouchers (including birthday cake) redemption and utilization will be paused from 05.02.2019 (12am) to 20.02.2019 (12nn).

But don't worry, you can still redeem a set meal from 8GP, non-negotiable gaming credits, travel reimbursement and concert tickets during that period!

I wonder whether this means even the Golden Package no meal voucher. :s11:

Sounds like, I will be up there 18Feb-21Feb, my slot buddies will be mad if no meal vouchers with golden package. Make no difference to me, after experienced vomiting and diarrhea 3 times after eating the food at Hainam outlets and developed a phobia in chicken rice, I never want to use the voucher to exchange for meal again.

Just go for the free buffet at Maxims Platinum Club. No need any voucher at all.

Your slot buddies will at least have 1 day of meal voucher. :D

I usually use my meal vouchers at Sky Casino.

IMO Hou Wei Chicken Chop Rice and Curry Mee are very decent. The Pot Luck chicken rice is horrendous. Peace Cafe Express Won Ton noodles is not bad. Good Luck is hit and miss. The Yong Tou Fu is OK but the braised meat rice is not great.

A lot of times I just use the meal voucher for a chicken pie/curry puff + drink at Good Luck.

I like the curry chicken set at Peace Cafe Express.

When I play jackpot games. I just play one spin max bet with my session bankroll. If lose I just stop playing and come back 2-3 hours later. If the 1st spin got some payout I just play until I lose all or up or win at least 100 times my bet. for example this game max bet is $30. I play one spin if nothing during the 1st spin I lose $30 I stop. If 1st spin got some payout let say $450 I continue play until the money is gone I stop or up until $3k or win at least $3k I stop.

Very interesting strategy. But takes iron-willed discipline.

I think not many people can do it. I consider myself to be fairly disciplined when it comes to gaming. Though I dun play slots as much as I used to, I will readily admit that I am probably not disciplined enough to follow your strategy.

Maybe I will try next trip and see can or not. :s22:

Very interesting on 1st spin theory, the thing is I never had a free spin on my 1st spin in Genting , never! However, it happened many times at RWS, :s13:
Max bet on 1st spin is a good idea, but many times I forgotten about this 1st spin. When I do remember to adjust to max bet, it never happen, always the case, sigh ~~

Not always all machine give payout in the 1st spins then bigger payout or keep winning until you decided to stop. You have to slowly found it. Most of my 3 days trips is pick all those lousy machines. Only once in a blue moon I pick machine that pay 10-20 times in the 1st spins and few hundred times in a while later. Not easy also but lose not so much money if you quit on the 1st spin if nothing and if the machine is good and pays you some money from time to time you can continue playing and earn a lot of more points because you max bet and using $30 to win $7000 to $8000 is okay mah.

Long time didn't win from Genting. Always get suck...

This is what I think, the first 30 spins are crucial, if the machine wants to pay me, it will pay within 30 spins.
I am more used to 30 spins strategy than 1st spin max bet. Especially 5 Dragons, 5Koi and Fortune King games.
I just got a 30x Phoenix full house and 10x Aces full house last week at RWS within my first 15 spins. Payout 3k+ as I bet 60cr (5cts). :D
Genting machines really very tight, I played until I scared, so when I go Genting play slot, I play min bet, ;) increase bet only when I feel the machine "behave" well, but a lot of time, my feel was wrong.. :s13:

I am not sure does 1 bet and 2 bet or different bet will make pay different.
I saw before, playing from 1 bet and increase till maximum bet, machine still pay well.
Play from center bet to lowest bet, still pay bad.
Play this bet, not good pay but switch bet, pay better.

It may not be important to play max bet but crucial to play max line.

Most of the times, the rest is a multiplier. And the payout will be similarly multiplied.

For some machines with a jackpot payout, you need to play max bet to have a chance of winning the major jackpot prize. And of cos, playing more credit will also increase your chance of triggering the jackpot.

I find the newer machines at Genting unappealing. Over the years, they removed many of my favourite machines so maybe that's why I play lesser slots nowadays.

I got your point.
After all these years of "school fees" paid, I learnt something.
5Dragons/5Koi/Fortune King - They make no difference whether you play 1bet or Max bet, if the timing is good, it payout well at any bet, no matter you switch to high bet or low bet, it's likely to continue paying until it hits a big one.
Particularly Cash Cove - When the game is paying well with 50cr bet, never never switch to 75/125/500cr, you will be killed very soon. Just keep playing 50cr and if the machine allow you to change denom, change to 10cts, 20cts or even 50cts/$1 denom, but remember to keep betting 50cr, the machine is likely continue to payout. Versa vise, if the machine is meant to play at 75cr and you keep playing 25, 50, 125 or 500cr, likely your bankroll be sucked until dry dry.

Yes i agree with you, better to be safe than sorry. Had already book through agoda for my parents. Trust that they are able to do self check in by themselves.

Thank you all for your advice, appreciate it :)
