Transtar Travel bus or Sri Maju? Which bus operator is better?

Never took Sri Maju before so can't comment. Except to say that if you read through this thread , you can't help but noticed the no of bad reviews on Sri Maju.

I had taken Transtar a number of times in the past and do not really has any complaints.

So between the 2, it's Transtar for me.

Different companies have different pick up pt. Most companies pick up outside First World but I think (but cannot confirm) that Transtar picked up from B5.

It's been a while since I took a Transtar bus back from Genting. :o

The cutoff time is 0430 hrs.

The Membership counter on L2 outside Skycasino is open 24 hours. I usually go there as there are more counters and less crowded. Best of all, after you buy, can still go straight into the casino and pay at the cashier at L2.

Thanks for the information, also need advise if i can purchase the golden package for myself and helping my friends to purchase on their behalf the same time, if they are not with me at that moment by bringing along my friends card to show them?

I saw agents can buy for their customers.

The agents are getting the package slips or making payment at the cashier? I thought you need to sign personally at the cashier?

I have no idea. But logically the answer would be no.

You would need to sign the slip at the cashier after you paid.

Yes. I wondered about that too. But we always see the agents handing out the NN Chips to their clients. Especially outside the toilet at L1. :s13:

I suspect that it's part of a package that they arranged in advance with Genting. So probably need to submit just the name to Genting. And the clients probably pay a 'package' fee that includes the Golden Package + Room.

Previously next to me was an agent, he holding a lot of cards verifying and getting the slips at the memebership counter, then the same time I saw him while I paying cash at the counter, he also paying for the package for all the cards. The thing is he is agents so he may do that for his customer by showing his agent id, maybe not for anyone.. that is why I am looking for advise

Dear all, just want to check is it possible to book fwh rooms using my genting card without me staying? I am planning to help my parents book using my genting card > on that day just pass them my card to do self check-in. Will there be any implications?

Please advise, thank you

You need to pass them your passport for self check in at the automated kiosk. However, if your parents arrived at a time when the kiosk is not working or the booking require you to check with counter in regards to check in, there is risk of them not being able to check in since they can't do so on behalf via counter.

I am okay with them using my passport to check in via the self check in kiosk, but there is a certain risk to take if the kiosk isnt working.

need to use kiosk
must check in for same day booking after 7am
must check in for same day booking before 11pm (or whatever time the kiosk close)
must not have an existing previous day booking
