I scrolled through 20-30 pages but hardly any talk of hotel reviews. It’s usually free rooms or casino?

Go Genting is to gamble mah, room is just to bath and sleep. So no one really cares about the condition of the room as long it meets the basic requirements.

If u are going with family and kids, then its a different ballgame altogether.

Theme Park Hotel is ideal for families with young kids.

Yea, my bad if I didn’t provide context. Just to bring family with a young toddler mainly to experience the cool weather and chill. Night time if sleep then go casino is bonus.

Thanks for your suggestion.

If you going with really young toddler just go for first world club room
Theme park might need some walk especially if your room is allocated at the valley wing, easily up to 5min walk plus waitin for elevator just to reach the main building and there is about 50m walk across a zebra crossing with no shelter to reach arena of stars or sky avenue

Theme park hotel is good for bigger group

Probably would suggest you to either go crockford (if within your budget) or at least get a world clubroom.

Not really. You dun need to cross the zebra crossing to go Arena of Stars or Skyavenue. To go Arena of Stars or SkyAvenue from TPH, you just need to walk along the path at the side of the road.

Walk towards Arena of Stars and continue on and you will eventually reach Hilltop Grocer which is the tail end of SkyAvenue.

Lai Lai. GPGT!

You only need to cross the zebra crossing if you want to go to the old casinos, Resort Hotel, Maxim or GG.

I saw Crockford’s price for year end Dec, seems really steep so will consider the family room at first world and see.

That’s quite a good hack actually. 70rm/night is very Budget indeed.

If you are really on a budget, you can also consider 2 connecting deluxe rooms. At RM 70 per room, it is probably the cheapest way to decently sleep a young family.

Connecting room can't choose online during booking, have to ask at the counter right?

It is subject to availability. You can select it as an option for RM5 if it is available when you check in. Usually should have no problem getting. It is mountain view that is hard to get.
Tks for sharing this tip! Now don't have to restrict myself to family room. :)

Sometimes too much gambling you need some breaks and stress relief, the queen size bed and clean bathroom will be put in good use.
