It is subject to availability. You can select it as an option for RM5 if it is available when you check in. Usually should have no problem getting. It is mountain view that is hard to get.

The mountain view option is hard to get. About as hard as hitting a feature on the slot machine

I dun think I have ever seen it as an option (always greyed out) in the last few years of self-check-in.

But I always wondered if the options are genuine especially the 'free' option. My last trip, I asked for a Queen bed but still end up with twin beds.

Not always 24 hours in the casino. Sometimes you need couple of hours away from the casino. There are many things for you to do and food for you to eat and coffee for your teabreak not always gamble at the casino

Sometimes too much gambling you need some breaks and stress relief, the queen size bed and clean bathroom will be put in good use.

That's true. I get claustrophobic which is why I will usually get the superior deluxe room which has nice mountain views.

yup..so hard to get rooms with mountain views and I definitely missed the First world Tower 1

For first timers, is 3D2N there too short? Which hotel would be good for two? Used to hear bad reviews on FWH, is it still as bad?

We don’t gamble so it’s really just a trip to relax and look see.

FWH though got many lifts but need wait very long.

I scrolled through 20-30 pages but hardly any talk of hotel reviews. It’s usually free rooms or casino?

If you dun gamble, then it's more than enough.

Just follow the tips from the list of videos provided in this post for ideas of what to do.

I would also suggest paying Chin Swee Temple a visit if you have not been there.

FWH is functional and utilitarian. As long as you can dun mind the small area and keeps your expectations low, it's OK. The best thing about FWH is that it's near to where all the actions are.

If you can afford it, Resort Hotel would be a good compromise between cost and comfort. The rooms are bigger and the amenities are better. But it's a bit far from SkyAvenue.

Also heard from my mom say, on the way up to Genting, best not to have any eye contact with the temple

I heard from my uncle that if you hold your breath from below the hill and only breathe when you reach the top, your gambling luck will be superb

Read in the news that many parts of western malaysia havingg very bad pmi index.

Curently here.. Cant really differentiate haze or fog when outdoor but at least don't feel it

But not sure is it due to sg Sept holiday(Malaysia not school holiday) it's super pack here with lots of tourist from China n India.

If haze, u shld be able to smell burning smell. Anyway, mostly pple will stay inside the sky avenue complex.

Genting always got more tourists

I'm at KL now~ quite hazy esp when driving at the highway can't see furthest mountain~ but didn't affect our breathing nor smell anything~ genting should be better since it's higher land~

Today haze condition in kl is worse than yesterday~ good thing it covered the sun but it's still equally hot~
