I find it more enjoyable as a spectators than players.
Keep seeing rich old ladies keep getting bonus rounds, and always bet big.

Winning big still depends on just sheer luck.

Still prefer ETG Roulette odd of 48.7% winning chance in big/small.
Wonder why they stopped ETG for Baccarat

- Not worth to visit the casino for table games
- no comments for slots

of cos while waiting can play at 2 baccarat table in front of room

Hi All, asking some newbie qns:

1. When booking coaches, say Transtar z-club, do you have a seating preference? As I am travelling with family, we will possibly take the 2x2 seats. But wondering if there is a difference seating in the front vs middle vs back?

2. In terms of food, I read that some of you recommended Lobster and burger, beauty in a pot. Qns: As these are available in Sg, is there something special on their menu that isn't available in SG (price sama sama)? Also, are there any food uniquely Genting?

3. As I am not permanently based in SG, I will be buying a prepaid sim (say Starhub?) in SG and add a HappyRoam package once in Malaysia. Are there any pitfalls in this plan? E.g. Reception is horrible? Need to activate HappyRoam whilst in SG?

4. Registered myself a Skyclassic account via Genting app as I am not intending to use the Casino. To earn points, do I just scan my QR code at eligible outlets to earn GP? I read that some places only accept physical card and I don’t really want to spend time queuing for one.

5. In the situation when I realise a physical card is needed, what would be the best time to queue for one? I am assuming like 12 midnight is when all arrivals have cleared is the best (provided counters are still open)?

6. I intent to expend the remaining MYRs on goodies on the way back to SG for family. As Transtar z-club has lesser stops, are there specific must buy goodies for families living in SG?

7. I read that some of you recommend checking in before leaving SG. The coach leaves at 5+am so I can do an app check-in at 12am. Do I get to select early check in (12-3pm – 5RM)? Can I just use the digital card or do I still need to use the kiosk for physical cards (e.g. to activate room lighting)? I am getting the triple rooms, do they all come with mountain view or do I have to pay for it? If so, can this be done via the app?

Apologies if qns have been asked and thanks.

Yes, DIY during booking, in my past Transtar Club-Z ride, I got the exact seat i booked
2. In terms of food, I read that some of you recommended Lobster and burger, beauty in a pot. Qns: As these are available in Sg, is there something special on their menu that isn't available in SG (price sama sama)? Also, are there any food uniquely Genting?

My family wish to book Beauty in the pot, but you required booking, unlikely u could walk-in if in group.
Their website show the restaurant is now closed for reno.
Lobster and Burgers not bad, but queues can be long during weekends.
Pick a live lobster in tank, the waiter will bring it to table for selfies/wefies before bring to kitchen to cook.

3. As I am not permanently based in SG, I will be buying a prepaid sim (say Starhub?) in SG and add a HappyRoam package once in Malaysia. Are there any pitfalls in this plan? E.g. Reception is horrible? Need to activate HappyRoam whilst in SG?

Go for RedOne SG's Amazing28 or Amazing38 plans
Phone cross borders without meddling data setting when in autoroam.
Data capacity shared between two countries.

4. Registered myself a Skyclassic account via Genting app as I am not intending to use the Casino. To earn points, do I just scan my QR code at eligible outlets to earn GP? I read that some places only accept physical card and I don’t really want to spend time queuing for one.

Not many stores had these QR codes, Physical card is better bet.
If you spending less than MYR 400, the GP wont be much. Free Meals nowadays is about 9GP if without gambling. (before covid was 3GP or 6GP)
5. In the situation when I realise a physical card is needed, what would be the best time to queue for one? I am assuming like 12 midnight is when all arrivals have cleared is the best (provided counters are still open)?
Only the SkyAvenue Level2 membership booth is 24-hours.
3 to 5am is very cold, remember wear jacket.

6. I intent to expend the remaining MYRs on goodies on the way back to SG for family. As Transtar z-club has lesser stops, are there specific must buy goodies for families living in SG?
Transtar and WTS stopped at Batu Caves local specialties stop
WTS also stopped at MingAn at YongPeng, Transtar skip yongpeng if you chose the food-on-board, normal transtar express ones will also stopped at MingAn.

Batu cave's Beh-Teh-So pasteries are the best so far (said so by family and my colleagues)
GH's BanHeng and YongPeng's MingAn ones are too sweet.
Bah kut Teh sachets not bad.

If you need specialites options : MountainView, High Floor, near elevators, Ajoined Room, Bed Sizes, then iKiosk or manned counters.

Mobile Check-in too early, you had to settle for leftover rooms before the availability of better rooms from those which visitors had checked out and room ready-made (freshly house-kept) by the time you performed checked in.

Thanks for the quick response.

1. So is there a 'best' seat? Or all the same? E.g. Further back as lesser ppl walking past you?

2. Understood about Beauty in a pot; just eat in SG. Lobster & burgers, available in SG too, but maybe the wefies only in Genting? Assuming no uniquely Genting food then.

3. Will check out RedOne

4. Noted.

5. Will walk to SkyAvenue Lvl 2 at midnight to have a look. Thanks for the jacket advise.

6. Transtar z-club, so Beh-Teh-So pastries it is

7. Ok. So advise is wait till 11-12pm reach liao then ikiosk check in (for high level/Mountainview).

I use to buy tambun biscuits from Heng Heng at GH and the pink lion head ma ti su. Personally find they taste better than BanHeng or other brands.

Also prefer to buy there so that can pack into the big luggage.

Is Heng Heng still around ?
