Noob question but do table games (e.g. Pontoon) allow you to hold a reference card for the basic strategy etc? I want to try Pontoon this time but can't remember the table by hard.
perfectly good. play optimum basic strategy.

but hor...haha...sometimes dont bother, the basic strat more popular and observed by ang mos i feel.
the aunties and uncles dont do that. For eg, if you have 3 cards 16 versus picture, maths say hit but most of the uncles aunties i observed would not take cos their logic is reversed, they hoping for small cards so might as well give it to the banker. This is interesting cos they "cock sure" they gona get a small card?? LOL

Then again, everything is possible la. The strategy card just provides CONSISTENCY in your play that is mathematically calculated to have better odds in the long run. Take A-A for instance, the strat says always split even if up against dealer's Ace. But some, consistently, won't.

The worst kind those uncles aunties horse behind cannon type, "you should have hit! you should have stayed!" esp if you are the last player.
na beiz...damn irritating. I usually will ask them eh auntie, you want to hit or stay since you so zun. Or you mortgage your house, one bet. Then they will keep quiet.

or those, A-7 against dealer 9 or 10, die die dont want to take a card kind. walau damn exasperating!

A-7 take a 4 or 5 might as well give to dealer 9 or 10. Lol

It's a 50% chance of not getting the pictures, A to 3 in Pontoon. The other 50% means more headache in decision.

Thanks for the advice. Yes I am also afraid of side comments so I have been sticking to baccarat and sicbo so far, but both of those games are usually luck games and there isn't really any control to what you do. I hate Three Pictures the most.

Else if like to touch cards, try genting stud. I find that game quite fun, well paced enough to relax play. And the multipliers with various combos are exciting. Who knows, you will be the next to strike that royal flush JP!

Actually none of the games results are within our control. Blackjack or Pontoon, machine type or live card shuffling are all randoms. Your opening or closure of the betting slots may have or no effect on the results. Important thing is to try to win with your luck.

MBS is still S$25 right? But as a blackjack addict I still will not go to MBS cos paying $150 just to enter casino for 24hrs does not make any sense to me. Going to genting is now totally free: free transport, free room, free food, free vacation. But blackjack table at genting is always not opened. In rare occasion when it is opened the minimum is RM100 (S$30). Pontoon table is still always available. Sometimes at level 2 the Pontoon minimum is RM50 (S$15).

Anyone stayed in Genting Grand hotel premier room before? Does every premier room have its own small "sitting area" like in this photo?

There's RM50 blackjack table at one corner of the Crockfords Platinum Club if you are able to get someone to sponsor you in.
