Better mask up in case catch any airborne diseases.
The seats are so close to one another I can almost smell their armpits.

I Just returned from Genting trip 21-24 Apr.

Played ETG Blackjack most of my time there. I think i played about 7-8 session of it. Win every session (My target profit to leave is always half of my base) then i will leave and breakeven on one session. Did not lose any session.

Surprisingly, very little ppl play the ETG BJ, alot of ppl playing roulette and dices. Sometimes there will be someone there not playing basic optimal strategy, then you might want to stop playing.

I did double on some 9 and 10 and every 11. Did not notice whether can double 8 or below because i wasnt interested to double. However, you cannot double on Ace + any card. I wanted to double on some Ace + X card but not allowed, so you can only hit. I think thats the edge they taken away from us..

Surrender is allowed. There is also insurance and offered even money when you BJ and house have a Ace.

Min bet is 10ringgit and max is 18k. Machine is pretty cool. Big screen and looks new.

How much did you bet per round?

Quick question for those who play ETG Blackjack at Genting

1. Is double down allowed on everything or is it allowed only on 9-10-11?
2. Is surrender allowed?

These are the rules based on my visit in early April. Do note that Genting can change rules without any form of notification so you should read the rules before playing.
Dealer has no peek for blackjack and player lose all bets in double or split when dealer has blackjack.
6 deck CSM with live dealer.
Can late surrender against any dealer card including Ace. Meaning if dealer has blackjack the surrender is void and you cannot save half your bet.
Can double once on only 2 cards against any card of dealer except if one of your 2 cards is Ace. ie, no soft doubling. Double draws only one card.
Can split up to 2 times to a maximum of 3 hands.
Can double after split.
Cannot resplit Ace pair.
Split Ace will get one card only per split hand.
House edge is 0.54%.
Pontoon is 0.46%
Blackjack table is 0.33%
MBS/RWS blackjack is 0.20%

The new genting palace at sky level 1 kinda sucks. Small portions too. A complete meal tho: soup of the day, main "course", veg (about 4 strands give or take), dessert, tea.

Better off having your comp meals at peace cafe or FUHU if you clock the GP to redeem rm200.

5 Frogs, at the Gold Club, is the best. Roll RM$180 to get 1TP, very de swee. One can easily get 10 to 12 points by waging RM$2/spin in an hour (I slot a spare card into the spin button. My machine is running non-stop). My favourite spot.

One good thing about ETG is that you can earn more tp when you double or split. Every RM100 bet will earn 0.07 tp. So including split and double maybe average 0.09 tp per round so about 11tp per hour?
