Yes. The room comp program is run by the casino side. The GP/TP you earn for retail spend is only useful for getting upgraded card status (i.e. to reach the 300 TP to upgrade from silver to gold).

Also they have implemented new rules for room awards. Previously you could get Maxims rooms on a silver card. Now you need a gold card before you are eligible for a Maxims room comp.

The best you can get on a silver card is the World Club room at FWH. I didn't bother to map the points for a World Club room as they are super popular. Hence even if you clock the nec points to get the comp, chances are you won't get a chance to use it unless you book very early.

Don’t think so. Previously was awarded plenty of comp date for GG while I was still silver, right now as a gold, there’s lesser comp date available for GG when I checked. As mentioned by many here, it really boils down to your gaming activity per day.

I always take night bus and the reason u mentioned not really a concern to me as I only use the fwh room (foc fr bus rolling program) to sleep for few hours while waiting for my GG or Mxm room to be ready after pre-registration early morning upon arrival.

May I know what is this bus rolling program about?

I was just looking at the Genting website and noticed something new. Not sure when they implemented this or if they have started charging.

They must have realised that charging RM5 for check in at 6am is too low. I don't mind paying RM20 if I can get a room at 6am but I doubt it comes with any guarantee.

The more logical thinking to all this free maxims/gg rooms,

- how deep is yr pocket ( yr income, yr job , yr credit rating etc )

- how often and bet amt

If u are a big fish, what is that free bus, free maxim room really matters to them ?

i nvr sell b4...but book for my close frd if u referring to RWS or MBS locally

This is risky. Housekeeping might come quite fast.

I usually make sure I am back in room before 11am. And leave the room only at 1pm. Only can do this at FWH. Resort Hotel they keep coming to knock on door.

Your method is ok but why drop the key ?

maxim or GG no issue...no need drop key first at all

i always check out 1pm than go eat and took 2pm bus to SG

For the current system, it is only 300 TP to get a gold card. If you can clock enough points to be comped Maxims / GG rooms, you will no longer be holding a silver card.

They have double TP promo in October. So you just need to earn 150GP and 5000GP to get 300TP and 10kTP respectively.

These days, you are unlikely to get a Maxims / GG room with just 100 points.

Nvr assume, Genting has more complicated assessment system than we all thought that's all abt color of yr card.

I'm not sure if there is a strategy for Baccarat but I never played the game and barely understand the rule, so I have no comments.

3 card poker has a very simple strategy. If your hand is min Q-6-4, then bet your hand. Else give it up. Simple right?

There is a mathematical reason why you bet on min Q-6-4 but I'm not sure we want to go there.

Not really. It was probably delayed becos Genting sued Fox and Disney for pulling out of an agreement over the theme park.

Recently, they reached a settlement with Disney and Fox over the lawsuit.

I dun think the layout would change much but the use of Fox characters wiil probably be modified. But they have agreed on the licensing of some Fox characters so we will still see them at the theme park.

I dun think it will be called Fox World though.

I see, thanks for clarifying! So it seems like after the Fox takeover, Disney don’t want their brand to be tainted by gambling and prefer the resort to be operated standalone like their Disney theme parks around the world. So that is what is causing the delay.

If you go up and clock 150 points over 3D2N, you will get not only a gold card but a pretty much confirmed 3D2N Maxims / GG room allocation for your next visit. After that, you only need to maintain 120 to 150 points per 3D2N visit to ensure a constant stream of Maxims / GG comp rooms.

They actually have no lack of gold card members. The promo is more for platinum members to retain their tier for lower points.

Cannot be flush. Flush only pays 4x. Must be straight flush which pays 40x. And it's not Bonus bet but 'Pair Plus' (Not trying to nitpick but getting the terminology right) 30x is for three-of-a-kind.

Yes. If you draw Q-5-4 or Q-6-3 then just give up the card.

So far I have been following this strategy and >75% of the time, giving up on weaker than Q-6-4 cards is the correct decision.

Optimal strategy in ante and play is to raise if you have a queen/6/4 (that is a queen, 6, and 4 all in the same hand) or greater, regardless of the bonus pay table. Overall the player stands to lose 8.66% of the Ante but win 5.29% on the Raise.

If you want to know why queen/6/4 is the borderline hand it is because if you raise on queen/6/3 you can expect to lose 1.00255 units, more than the 1 unit by folding. However if you raise on queen/6/4 the expected loss is .993378, less than the 1 unit by folding.

I have been asked several times about the strategy of raising on any queen or better, in other words mimicking the dealer. This is not a bad strategy but you will lose more with it than the optimal strategy above. The house edge playing the mimic the dealer strategy is 3.45%. Raising on everything, or playing blind, results in a house edge of 7.65%.

Of cos must play 'Pair Plus'. That's where you made your gravy.

I know there is a strategy that only plays the Ante-Play. And I have even seen some people play this at the table. Maybe, in the long run, you dun lose as much but you are probably also limiting your potential win.

Sure, 3-of-a-kind and straight flush are rare but they do occur. And straights and flushes do occur with some regularity. So not playing 'Pair Plus' dun really make sense to me.
