Avoid going to any places of interest in Malaysia, the last week of Aug, even though its the end of the Ghost month, but it is Malaysia National Day (31st Aug, Sunday) , their long weekends..

Expect Malaysian crowds and jams.

u r good to go!
if come back to sg by air make sure you complete the sg arrival card online.
nvr add :

Attention:

Singapore residents and Long-Term Pass holders with vaccination status reflected in TraceTogether and/or HealthHub apps or have successfully verified their digital overseas vaccination certificate on Vaccination Check Portal (VCP), need not submit SG Arrival Card if you are arriving via Woodlands and Tuas Checkpoint

Hi thinking of going in Aug via coach bus. Which coach do you all recommend for a comfy ride? Hotel most probably nearer to the theme park so thinking of First World Hotel but book a nicer bigger room. Any other hotels to recommend that's nearer to the themeparks/attractions. Thanks :)
All the available coaches are comfortable. I personally prefer 707 or transtar due to accessibility.

You will not want to stay near the theme park especially since the concerts are starting to roll out. If you want bigger room, I will suggest Crockfords. It is also really close to the theme parks. The rooms of SkyWorlds Hotel facing the theme park is a no no to me.

I will be there this 17-19 Jul, also in Aug and Sep, too much annual leave to clear, and HK/TW/MO still not safe to visit.

This time I will try out the RM42 breakfast buffet at FWH's The Food Factory.
Will try to take some nice picture there.

I would recommend theme park hotel , next to theme park . There’s room for 4 and 6 . The sixers room are huge with 3 queen size bed

SkyWorlds Hotel is only good if you are staying at the Valley Wing. However, that requires a lot of walking, not much difference from staying at FWH or Crockfords.

walu u said it man.
avoid at all cost unless u r also a maniac!

not trying to discourage people from going
just to be aware and be mentally prepared for crowds

because last time i took 10pm night bus to genting
reach at 4am
was planning to early check-in at 6am as usual at their self check-in kiosk

turns out there were no ROOMS available (because there was some large event)
super tired and sleepy
and had to wait at the first world hotel lobby like a homeless bum until 11am
it was a NIGHTMARE!!!
THAT I CANNOT WAKE UP FROM!!!
