Genting FAQ - Part 3

Have the chance to get room. On last Friday night around 730pm still saw 200+ rooms available at FWH lobby screen.

Why does Genting hoard the rooms until last minute? Doesn’t make financial sense. Unless all no shows at the last minute:

Hi guys I am thinking of going for a last min trip this weekend 22-25th. Seems like there’s no hotel at the top.. so I was thinking of going without a hotel booking. If I go there without a hotel booking, are there any chance I can book one on the day? (My back up plan is Awana or take bus down to KL)

Ever thought of sleeping on the chairs like I see so many people do?

If it's not a must for u to stay @ the peak (Genting hotels) then other options are aplenty during non-peak season like now. Go to online hotel booking platforms like Agoda etc ..it shud not be difficult to get a room. In fact so many other very good hotels like in the link attached here:

Even if u r not driving, Grab cars are aplenty up there. Enjoy yr trip & good luck!

Those nbrs displayed on screen @ lobby are meant for rooms "alrdy booked" and "alrdy cleaned & now ready for check-in" - not meant as available for walk-in booking. No walk-in booking at all Genting hotels.

For booking, it's centralised via reservation center - hv to either call hotline or book via the mobile app. If you failed to book via either way, then still those nbrs is irrelevant to u.

U won't survive tat way if it's longer than just 1 night....without proper rest & sleep, winning or losing @ casino is no longer abt luck but also yr mental/physical awareness or rather lack of it. Don't ever try this - it's gonna be a sure-lose visit! With lack of sleep, u will lose concentration as well as self-control!

U won't survive tat way if it's longer than just 1 night....without proper rest & sleep, winning or losing @ casino is no longer abt luck but also yr mental/physical awareness or rather lack of it. Don't ever try this - it's gonna be a sure-lose visit! With lack of sleep, u will lose concentration as well as self-control!

i ever 36hrs non stop. one time enough u really dont knowhatyou doing. now i stop during meal time n sleep time. i only cont past sleeping if the luck also continues.

Yesterday night after half a day farming ringgits at ETG, Getting rest, went back to Tower 3 Y5 Triple hotel room, which facing Highlands Hotel.. I realized the Highlands Hotel rooms windows are not One-Way.. my potato phone optical zoom lousy.. next time i will get a better phone to capture couples hugging near the windows.

Last time 2 years ago before lockdown, there is some guys stand around the corner asking if I want room or charbo. I think you can observe around if you see some guy stand alone at corner asking other around something.

It was quite irritating on weekends, today a security guy was having his guard duty near the escalator, the OKT move operation near the check-in lobby..


For those wishing to visiting outdoor theme park, the past 2-3 days raining with lightning warning sounded out. Some rides stopped.

ya that memembership service is 24 hours. so just find your own off peak hours. For redemption such as containers and cooker set, no need q. Just approach counter. Dont be ben ben like me q for a while. heng someone asked and i skip the long snaking q.
