Wow to get Crockfords is super man. Just to confirm, for Gold Card, only TP earned in Gold Card area are eligible when it comes to comp rooms correct?

Not really. Just try to do a 70%/30% VIP/non VIP earnings also no issue. Otherwise the 27 millions dragon link grand can only be won by the classic or silver members based on your earlier response. If you earn between 500-1000TP in a day, you will also qualify for Crockfords rooms as well.

The Myth of earn 100TP in 24hrs (0000-2359) seem true to me.
I never had Genting Grand or Crockford rooms until I got 100TP in one day at Gold VIP area. Now its getting easy every month. This 3D2N trip I got 400TP, my card only had RM5000 capital, all excess I cashed out to buy food and groceries.

E.g. Actual TP earned in one day 250. because is 2XTP day = 500 TP. Does this qualify as 250TP or 500TP?

Thanks @kevinlaikf Bro. Yep read about it here and did a 200 plus TP in one day (after X2 on members day), and finally got GG (no Sat night though). Going up again in May on members day and with the aim to hit 300TP in one day.

That's why need to fast-hand-fast-leg book when slots opened up.. if u had keen eyes you will notice all the dates around 18th especially weekends, fully booked even at the first hours, all hotels except FWH.

Should be I guess, I don't know as well. You can check back on the points history to know the awarded points. I earned 1k TP on 7 Mar alone.

This is original building First World Plaza. I actually prefer to eat there. Most people overlook this place. They have bowling and archery at Lvl 3.

Level 4 Arcade area where they have the Jurassic ctr. It is actually more suitable for young children than the indoor theme park. Very quiet.

But just now i checked they first time give me resort hotel complimentary but only available in april so now im considering whether to go.
Abit last min trip (if i go) so probably alone..
Alone go not worth to book PHV so only can take coach.

Any solo traveller go genting frequent can advise transportation?
Usually take morning bus or midnight bus better?
And i read that if go by midnight bus, will reach 3-4am so need to book hotel one day in advance then inform about late check in. Is that right?

EDIT: I booked 5th apr to 9apr (3days +1 days).
So thinking if i should arrive 5th noon or 6th midnight

Whether you are staying in FWH or Resort, it will still be better to travel in the morning and reaching by noon. More resources available for the check in. I do not know what is the counter condition for Resort after midnight but most better rooms should have already been taken up by then.

For coach booking, you may check up easybook or Shopee app. There's various coach companies for selection. 707 bus schedules suits me better so far.

If you so decide to take the night bus and book the room for the day before, do call the customer service to put in the remark for the late arrival, no doubt the booking is guaranteed. Either the call or to write to them.

Since it is a once in a blue moon trip, I will still encourage you to arrive on 5 Apr noon for you to have more time for your activities in the resort.

Enjoy your forthcoming trip.

Just get the local simcard at the Yong Peng rest stop if your coach stop by for a meal in the morning or the 4th floor of skyavenue nearby the cable car station next day if you decide to go for night trip as the coach will definitely not stop by Yong Peng for night coach.

Celcomdigi line is pretty stable in the mountain.

Nope. What you earned is what you got. On Member's days (or Double-Date days), 2xTP means you will attain 1TP in double quick time.

For example: If you need to roll RM$140 to 150 to earn 1TP on a 5 frogs slot machine in the Gold Card Area on any normal days, on the above-mentioned special days... you will only need half of the requirement. i.e.: RM$70 to 75.

Vivifi, Simba, Eight works well at Genting with plenty of data. And on the bus.

I am on Vivifi $7.70 plan and Eight $8 plan. Family member used Simba.

Nowadays, I don't need to buy Malaysia SIM card anymore.

I used Simba + MiFi, thats where i am out of hotel.

In hotel, I stayed at either Genting Grand or Highland Hotel, their complimentary WiFi damn power, 2x faster than Cellular 4G, no need worry hotspot limit or FUP. I need to use MiFi if stay at FWH.

Smooth watching IPTV and Japanese documentaries with CloudFlare DNS.

I had been to Gentings almost monthly since 2020.
Always bring along my TVBOX, i got a habit of sleeping with TV show running, gave me a sense of security.
Nobody will break into rooms with TV switched on.

Remember to switch tv on/off at midnight for a timer reset, i think they had an auto-shut feature on tv, will shutdown in few hours.

Im staying Resort hotel this time. 5d4n. I backread abit and saw someone said now resort hotel have wifi already. Hopefully its strong enough for use while im in room.

Will get other telcom for out of hotel usage.

First time going genting alone so i have to plan everything alone.

Last few trips is always either with family or friends so i can chill and let them plan.
