Was already thinking of surrendering to Creative for replacement at $300.
But think again we can do whatever we want first before sending in coz they will just simply take in and replace with a refurbished unit with 3 months warranty.

How many dead s750 user we have here? Fall in~!

Frankly speaking, 300/= for 3 months warrenty is not worth, it suck.

may be you have to take a bit time to organize it, to get all owner who have spoil S750 to group the parts and share the cost.

Say is easy than done. but not others choice, right?

it worth to repair it. even diy, you gain experience.

Yes, has talk about this set up before. the uncle is right.
cos this set up the amp and the sub, plus of stellite spks are individual.

so, amp will not hot and will not affected by the vibration of sub woofer, the component will not break. it is much loger lasting set up.

this type of set up is just like 10 year ago Threatre Surround set up. But only 5.1, now there are amp for 7.1 and capable to sound card input.

good choice. yes.

rather to take the troble to repair this s750 model. unless is you hobby.

In this case, for me i/s to pay 799 for the s750, will get another amps for my com, the money will spend on the amp and use my Yamaha Active Sub, Plus the current creative Stellite spks or upgrade to a higher W Stlite Spks.

I confident any time better than the S750.

Bro, What you comment and thought??

haha.. true.. i might do that to get a sub and amp..

cos i still think it is not worth to buy a sub for 3 months warranty at 290 esp. the sub so easy spoil..

but if the uncle can repair it at a fee of maybe 50-100 bucks i dun mind.. even for another 3 months.

if not i will sell all the sats and get the Z5500 from logitech at 699..

Think Z5500 shouldnt, to bad. any feedback on this one?

however, the amp will be still the same inside the sub woofer. How to expell the heat, do not know how they design the port? twin or single?

have to get more info, before landing. ;)
