Tiong didn't do the EV research. Tiong only developed the EV tech from US knowledge base. Therefore, the development is falling short in the long run. Products manufactured from reverse engineering can never beat the manufacturer who did the actual research and development.

Most cheena ev running 800v by the way... Stress the battery power system jialat and not good for efficiency.

Teslas running 400v.. they know the biggest bane to ev efficiency is drag coefficient. They grasp the key to making proper electric vehicle... They are after all the one who started all these.

Just by proper automotive aerodynamic design to optimize drag coefficieny will improves drive range, improve performance, drivability and durability too. They know it. Not easy to achieve 0.22Cd like model y but investing and pushing out a superior model benefits outweighs anything else easily.

Why cheena ev must be 800v? They are heavier! Crude internally.. only cosmetics eye pleasing. 800v compromise safety too. High voltage vs low... 400v actually already quite 96 liao.

One other point is tesla forces drivers to accelerate and decelerate slowly using the one pedal drive. For whatever ev, if u drive that way, how bad can the efficiency get?
