good butter recommendation

recently i tried westgold grass fed butter, salted
color very yellow, indicative of grass fed cows

but dun have the slightly fermented tangy taste of europe butters
will not buy again

This one or lupak or that donki "Hokkaido" butter.

I like my butter cold and solid for sliced bread.

what oils are good?

they say seed oils are bad... but i go supermarket all is seed oils leh..

so next time use what to cook is good? olive oil/butter?

ya spreadables are all mixed with margarine.....but those cheapo blocks of butter(typically less than $4 sgd) are all mixed with margarine also.

lard/tallow/duck fat/cold-pressed oils like peanut/palm/coconut/olive r all ok.

much better than those that require petro-chem to extract.

I made butter cakes and tried many different brands of butter. I think SCS still value for $. Recently tried the FairPrice house brand butter. Didn’t have any expectations but surprisingly quite good!
