From xda, it seems the bubbles should disappear by themselves.
Still waiting for my XO skin and TPU casing, about 3 weeks already
Yup, woke up this morning and nearly all the bubbles are gone. Except for 2-3 tiny ones. And now only one bubble is left. So what they say is true.
Anyway here are my thoughts on the screen protector:
Installation wise is a little messy because you need to spray your fingers and the screen protector with their solution. It was my first time installing a wet screen protector so I had to remove parts of it a few times and kept on spraying the solution before I press the protector down again. While I use the plastic card they gave to push out the excess liquid, some of it went into the speaker, so I had to wait for 4-5 hours for it to dry before I dared to put in the battery.
The protector itself is clear and quite fingerprint resistant. Also oil resistant but if you use some force while sliding, you can still stain the protector with some streaks of oil.
However once there are smudges on the screen protector, you have to use a tissue or cloth to wipe them away. All in all, it prevents smudging much better than the cheapo one I had.
There is some slight orange peel texture, but very slight and doesn't bother me. Also I haven't allowed the screen to settle for 2-3 days yet, so it might get better over the next few days. If you scrutinize you will see that it's not as smooth as those dry protectors but I won't say it's a deal breaker.
It feels like squeaky glass while sliding. There's a slight resistance to the finger when sliding. I'll give it a few days to settle first. It is ok for most things but if you need to play games that need sliding gestures a lot, you may feel slightly uncomfortable trying to slide your finger. The effect is quite minimal actually but it does feel a little different from normal protectors.
The cut out fits the top and sides almost perfectly. Maybe 1mm or less from the edges. Unfortunately for mine, the bottom doesn't cover to the edge, maybe like 2-3mm from the bottom edge. I read that others have theirs to the edges all round, so maybe mine failed qc or something. Still not a big deal but even after putting a case on, I can see the edge of the screen protector at the bottom.
All in all, I would say that it's much better than your cheapo protector and even some of the branded dry protectors.
