Seems like Google removed the menu list item animation that was very laggy in previous versions.

I just completed manual update for both of my my devices Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus. However both after update suffered Google Play Store not able to update giving timeout Error.

Google Play Store error could be fixed with wiping of cache & Dalvic

1) Galaxy Nexus
Install full ROM of yakyu 4.0.4 with manual steps (unlock bootloader, fastboot to flash in bootloader, radio, system.img, userdata.img, recovery.img...)

Market recovered after master reset from Menu/Backup&Reset
=> This will do cache & Dalvic wipe

2) Nexus S
Update with CWM..
Market recovered after dalvic & cache wipe

Have fun..

Haha....you think they give priority to a small red dot meh? :D

It's still rather funny people buying a Nexus don't dare to do updates manually themselves. :D Google is well known for being "invisible" to their "customers".

true but ppl will have the impression that the OTA will come sooner coz no customization is needed..

think 4.0.3 is a version that is for the brands (HTC, Samsung and folks) to customize their phone.. then the real deal is 4.0.4.. thats why 4.0.3 image is not available.. jus some thinking..
