Definitely LTE for me. I'm just curious whether the new N7 supports telephony (voice-calls/sms) though. That'll be an added bonus but not a deal breaker.

You can bet your balls it won't support voice calls.

But maybe someone can hack it in, provided the hardware is not castrated like in the current N7 tilapia.

Going to pass the current old N7 to my mum to use. Can't stand the Nvidia chipset. Will be getting this Gen 2 version, since it is running on Snapdragon.

I'm thinking of setting it up as a dedicated Play Music/Spotify player along with the charging dock.

Only problem is finding a way for it to be remotely controlled.

tats not the main point for not getting lte also...

ask urself how often u bring out the table?
to work only? i give u 45 mins travel time... 45 mins only need to have lte version? just tab on phone. go back office charge phone.

bring out N7 when meeting friends? ur friends are so boring that u need to bring out a tablet?

at home use lte n7? ur house no PC?

In case it's not obvious enough, the LTE version would likely exceed S$400 so it would be subject to GST when shipping over. The wifi versions, however, should be safe from this regulation given their lower price.

My advice is, those who want to buy, better order fast. I have a feeling there's going to be limited stocks initially which will run out quite quickly - remember the Nexus 4 fiasco? Another factor is that the yields on such a high resol screen will prob be quite low

or if like me and dun care for LTE and only need HSPA (i got a lot spare 3G sim plans lying around), then should be fine..

please take note, buying from europe, despite the weak euros will always be abit more ex when compare to buying from US...it's just the nature of how their currency conversion works..
