Anyone know where I can repair my nexus 7 ? Currently can't get a full charge , at the most can only get 50+% even after 1 full night.

Went to Asus Service center and was told that it's either battery need replacement or the motherboard faulty, which cause about $120 and ~$300 respectively to fix.

You nexus 7 use half a year liao? or out of warranty

Actually mine is the 1st gen .. i ask here coz the thread for 1st gen is kinda dead and repair should be generic for both gen 1 and gen 2 I suppose ...

You should state that you are using 1st gen , and post in 1st gen thread, very misleading you know , I though 2 gen problem

As I previously mentioned, I posted here as I just wanted someone who can do repairs .. anyway I have resolve the issue of the slow charging and posted it over at the gen 1 thread.

what are the implications of unlocking bootloader?

For example, Sony Xperia if unlock u will lose the X-reality/bravia engine and auto download song info etc (although u can restore the DRM keys or something)
