before that need preparation, no? developer mode?

Just download the OTA image
Plug in using USB
Turn on USB debugging
Restart to recovery mode
Run adb sideload command

Easy, not lehceh.

Then continue waiting if the above steps are lehceh. Too bad...

Got android 5.0 image file for Nexus 7 2013 LTE? I don't mind sideloading, very easy steps. Run commands only.

Based on my N7, it's fine, just little bit stuttering here and there. Same as in N5. In fact, heard that also happen on N6. Can always turn off the animation from developer option.

Hmm okay. In that case I'll probably just stick with Kitkat first then. Wug's toolkit got abit of error so wait till he solves it then head on to 5.0

at this slow rate, the main selling point of Nexus products having update FIRST may not hold true liao ...

really slap Google in the face, if other OEM manage to push out Android 5.0 onto their flagshop before Nexus products ...

Nope...you misunderstood Google's intention for the Nexus line of products.
They were intended for, 1) a reference device for developers and 2) show case stock Android without heavy overlays that impact performance.

They were never developed with the idea to be "FIRST". In fact, what we are seeing now, OEMs like Nvidia and Motorola updating their devices so fast, is the desired outcome ! :D

Hi all,

My Nexus gen 2 seems like uplorry liao :(

Did a bit of research. When I boot up the tablet, it is unable to get pass the "Google" screen. Any advice on how can I troubleshoot this??

Also, was wondering if there is any repairshop that can provide cheap and quality servicing of the tablet??

Thanks
