the casing is oem TPU one... not from asus

I myself alr own one 32gb nexus 7 (2013) when it was first launched last year. I got it from amazon too, and I did a check on Asus website with my device serial ID. It does reflect that my device has 1 year international warranty.

Previous posts in this thread had some debates that the nexus 7 description on amazon states north america warranty, but mine does have international warranty though.

Correct me if I'm wrong. If you see Asus brochures locally, most of their products have at least 1 year international warranty. In fact, asus is well known for its 1st year international warranty reputation.

I wanna hoot the glass screen protector. Taobao cheaper but all in inclusive of shipping more expensive then buying direct from the shop being SIC-ed.

Cheap temper glass screen protector may have quality issue which will cause your screen not sensitive, u will feel it more if u playing game. I bought 1 from eBay which cost only USD9.90 with free shipping. The screen protector quality is poor, a little warp/not flat when put on the screen, there is a bubble which I am unable to remove. The screen also become not sensitive, in the end, I throw away and bought another new one which cost more and better quality. Temper glass is thicker than normal screen protector so may have touch sensitive issue if material quality is poor.

i never have the thought of using tempered glass sp for this, never, if not for the fingerprints, i would not want any sp at all. the 1 i bought from taobao 5x for rmb18. i am very bad at putting on sp, basically bought 5 and prepared to use 2, 3 as practise. but surprisingly, 1 for practise enough, 2nd one swee swee liao

My girlfriend only uses it to watch HK dramas and movies. 720p no problem but I root and install custom ROM for her though.
