Me too. Never paid for a screen protector before.
I like it naked and RAW, with all the GLORIOUS sensations intact. From my S3 to N7.:D

Maybe get a sleeve or the MoKo case/cover, if worry about putting inside bag.

i think my concern is mostly with protecting parts of the tablet like the rear camera len which might be prone to dirt/dust/scratches when laying on surfaces or bag

The iPad mini has got serious competition with the new Nexus 7. If a retina version doesn't arrive this year... well so far the new Nexus 7 has been incredibly smooth for me. I usually prefer iOS tablets to android tablets, but the Nexus 7 is really changing my mind.

By retina display, iPad Mini will need to have 2048 * 1536 screen.

So will you prefer to have a 16:10 or 4:3 aspect ratio screen?

4:3 is pretty irritating for people who watch 16:9 videos often.

That's really subjective. Actually I never watch videos on my tablets, but I know most people do, based on what I see while taking public transport. For reading, 4:3 is superior to 16:10 or 16:9, but generally it's not too hard to adapt.

To put that in perspective, even for videos, all you get are black bars, but effectively because the height of the iPad mini's screen is more or less identical to the Nexus 7's, the size of your video clip would essentially be identical on both.

This assumes, of course, the iPad mini finally comes out with a Retina version. The current iteration @ 1024x768 is already inferior to the Nexus 7's 2012's 1280x800 resolution. Of course @ 2048x1536, that would surpass the current Nexus 7's 1920x1200 display.

Yeah.. I do have a concern for these as well.. you don't need an SP for this, just get a case! I've been looking out for a good swivel case as well... but I don't think any exist yet.. some are available for preorders though...

On this note, i want to share a very interesting accidental discovery. I happen to have a audio-technica usb mic. A chain of events leading to me needing to use it this morning... that was when i realized that it has a cover that is almost a perfect fit for the N7...
It's just the a tad too long and too narrow by just the slightest bit but.. it fits!! And it is well padded inside meant to cushion any impacts against the microphone. I'm pretty amazed... check it out:

*top right image has the pouch under the N7, almost perfect sized... :p

Although i would agree that most websites would be easier to thread on 4:3 ratio... but i found that the N7 ratio is almost perfect for reading my ebooks. it fits a single page very nicely and looks really neat on full screen mode. (Silly things that made me really happy. :D)

hmmm any other charger to recommend?

I really really want the N4 qi orb... if anyone have lobang to get it cheap, that would be the most awesome thing... :D
