Could i ask the bros here, what do you guys use your N7 for?

Assuming that you all have an Android phone as well?
Cause i'm thinking if i should hoot one, even though i'm already using an Android phone.

if you root only, can update. if you install custom roms, custom roms themselves should have update. But if you want to go back to stock, just flash a stock rom and you can update as per normal.

The quoted price is misleading. The actual pricing of WIFI 16GB shld indicate $359 (inclusive of $20 accessories) & WIFI 32GB @ $419 (inclusive of $20 accessories).Btw is it inclusive of GST?

I'm pretty sure the $20 can buy you a case and/or screen protector from them?

The main thing i use it for is reading. It's a perfect ebook reader IMO, with the size, weight and up-time.
But other than that, I use it for a couple of games, load a few movies in, and root all the way and play with android.
(rooting, flashing and tweaking your main phone is a little more troublesome since it has to be more stable and make sure all the info gets ported over)

gst should be included by law...
only F&B (and service i think?) can display price excluding gst.

In a dilemma now.

I have a Note 8 but thinking of getting the N7 to replace due to the screen and I prefer all android OS without the bloatwares.

On the other hand, I prefer the LTE on my Note 8. I know that I can tether from my phone but the onboard LTE is a convenient and always ready to use feature without going into setting on both devices. With N7, I can save the monthly cost of the multi-SIM.

Thinking of selling my Note 8 to fund N7. Hopefully the trade in for Note 8 have not drop so much that I would need to top up for n7.

If it's just for the bloatware.. I'm sure you can root and flash a bloat free rom..

Haha.. If you wait a little there'll be an LTE version of N7 as well..
I did a rough calculations on this a few pages back:

Hmm... actually i think you should be able to sell 2nd hand Note 8 for more than the price of a new WiFi N7.. :p

Anyone who bought the SPIGEN's SGP for N7 FHD got an email from them, that they have an updated design and will be shipping you a set for free?

I've mine on the N7 FHD for a couple of days already, and I do notice that the touch sensitivity is quite bad sometimes, especially if I'm typing on the keyboard. Will miss a couple of characters in a sentence.
