If you still don't get the prompt to update after running OTA, then the only way is flashing on your own.

Been on 5.0.2 since mid Dec 2014.

Are you on stock or custom rom? How's the performance? I'm sitting on the mobile version and it's like Google has forgotten they have a mobile version to update.

My girlfriend fixed her Ipad at JE area. Janet's Mobile. Seems good though.

Remember seeing the notice state Nexus 7 also. Better to call and check.

Better to buy new one IMO.
Refurb sets for 1st gen nexus can be gotten for <$100
Screen repair is likely to cost upwards of that.

Yah. Was thinking whether to repair the screen or buy a totally new one. Nexus 9 is like quite ex. Saw some iPads look a like from Taiwan that seems not bad too.

To the person who is taking a long time to charge the N7,
I used to have the same issue. Takes 14 hours or so to charge from empty to full. I thought it was ridiculous. Also, whenever I connect my USB cable to my laptop to transfer files, it keeps automatically disconnecting and reconnecting. I searched online, and I guessed it was a problem with the microUSB port. I went on amazon, bought the OEM part, and then replaced it on my own using YouTube as a guide. Now, its much better.

Also, lollipop is now available for N7. Has anyone upgraded? Any feedback?

Haywire as in? I find this N7 is a disaster. Starting use like quite shiok but without 1 to 2 months of use the lag problem come in already. Charging issue also.

App will open by itself and wifi will turn off and on... etc. mine is the 3G version, so yet to get the lollipop...
