guys i dunno why i cant get the 25 free credits...i cant find the wallet app anywhere when i am at 4.1.2
initially when i access the wallet app they say its outdated and i need to update the app how?

the 25 dollar offer is gone.

the wallet app in addition to play movies and magazine are disabled due to region. if you are rooted, use titaniumbackup to unfreeze those apps.

hi,

wana chk with N7 users when surfing net, when i try to zoom to a specific spot, why it will zoom to a diff location? i will have to zoom out again n redo in a way tat i wont zoom too much.

2) is there anyway to fast scroll to the top webpage rather than keep scrolling up. for instance ipad once touch the top edge of screen, it will move to the top page.

Is there a faster way to see battery levels instead of going to home screen then settings then battery? Ipad has it at the corner all time.

Also in chrome, i have to tap the 3 dots then get to bookmarks. Any faster way to hit bookmarks?

If you need to ask, then you don't need it.

Don't take it the wrong way, it's the same logic as anyone asking if they need to learn how to dig for truffles - why would they need to if they will never use that skill?

You can also pull down the notification bar to view the battery %.

If you can live with stock then just so be it loh. And dont try if you not sure. For me I learn things the hard way. Bricked before a lot of devices when my first time. I have bricked before psp. Ps3. Windows 6.1 xperia x1. Iphone 3gs. Even my nexus 7 have bricked once. Lucky got back up.

Is a painful lesson. Subsequently know how does jailbreak, custom firmware, custom roms, works. Eventually learn from the past devices.

My point is. If you really wanna do it theres no one can stop you. You are responsible for your own mistakes. And word of advise is you should do lots of read ups first before attempting anything. If in doubt dont skip steps. By skipping you might have a problem.

Do you guys know how to access the settings whereby you enable only hspda connection instead of the gprs and 3g? Other android phones have the keyboard .apk to key in the code to access the settings. But Nexus 7 don't have a keyboard apk file.

i understand. i too have bricked my psp long ago but i have gained much by risking my devices so i thought maybe rooting might help me learn more about android

The problem is with Android, different devices from different manufacturers have different methods. Nexus is ok, they mostly unlock/root the same way, but u throw in non-Nexus device, it's an epic headache.

The one I hate most is HTC. Not sure if they've improved in anyway, but their gold card mess p*ssed me off that I'll never get their non-Nexus models EVER again.
