I have not learnt how to root my N7 and now would like to use it with an external USB dongle for 3G internet access. Appreciate if anyone can recommend me a simple way to root it so as to achieve my objective. Or is there another way to do it without rooting?

Thanks.

despite saying that 3G technologies is quite robust compared to LTE.

Sadly we are the fools that is played by the 3 telcos.

yeah HSPA+ is probably good enough but the 3 telcos didn't upgrade the infra well enough to accommodate the huge user base since everyone started having iphones years back..

now they are hoping we jump to LTE by not upgrading the 3G infra:s22:

using Nexus root toolkit is pretty easy, takes about 10mins to finish everything.. but of course you need to read abit to know what u are doing... basically u need unlock bootloader then root it.. take note unlocking bootloader will wipe all data so backup the data you wanted first..

Wug's Nexus Root Toolkit v1.6.2 [Updated 12/29/12]

At the moment the NRT website seems down, maybe for maintenance ..could be back few hrs later..

Im actually looking for a FULL frame (not those just holding the corners but everything except the usb port and buttons) type of flip cover for n7. Couldn't find one leh. Those found really look flimsy.

U can consider Speck, note the clip on cover is not to everyone's liking though.

I've been using Nexus 7 for 2 weeks. It seems that the touch sensitivity is very poor.
Whenever I play candy crush, the top right corner cannot move at all.
I've to rotate it to landscape before I can swap the icons.
It also happens in my dolphin browser. It's always difficult to press the refresh/X icon unless I rotate it 90º.
It's very frustrating. Even my kids said our old ipad is better.

I've applied screen protector immediately after purchase, I wonder whether it is the SP problem.

Any body in the same situation as me? Is there anyway to adjust the touch sensitivity?
Or should I send it in to Asus? TIA
